he he, my car does it too.. either slow down more, or double clutch and rev match that downshift. I of course with my dual range tranny just shift it into low and use second if im going to "fast" to shift to first.. its like having a 6 speed -

justys are fun cars, Id drive one for sure.. but it cant hold a candle to my RX.. I wouldnt call it inferior, its just not what some people like.. I would be scared to roll one over though -
i never thought of putting cams in a non turbo before... acutally, where do i get theese majic cams at?

SO, 1) warm up car to norm temp 2) make sure idle circut closed (how do i do that? lol) turn off car, connect connectors. restart, time with light. disconnect? or turn off car and disconnect? have no clue.. i dont remember.. sorry for sounding so stupid.. i just pulled the motor and changed the clutch, but i cant set the timing? lol -

well, i did use the search function, with no REAL solution... sometimes it surges, sometimes it dosent.. most of the time when i get down on it, not all the powers there but most of it is, it surges, then comes in after having it to the floor for a while.. sometimes.. Now, i made the mistake of adjusting the ignition timing without plugging in the connectors, because i dont know where they are or which one to plug in.. I dont know if its better or worse, but i havent played with anything else.. I just want it to run good, all the time.. not just when it feels like it..

maybe he was just having a bad day, and didnt feel like reading the username or sig.. Ive had days like that, well.. every single monday.. oh yeah, heres a funny one for you guys, (im going to video this) Pull up the ebrake (locks the front tires) rev it up a lil' drop the clutch and BAM, Light up both rear tires.. Get the revs up, and when you get about 8-9 psi on the boost gauge, release ebrake, and enjoy your LSD for about 80 feet down the street.. it handles MUCH more neutral now in constant state cornering.. It still has a hint of understeer, but its not dangerous like it was.. yes, you heard me.. understeer is dangerous... -

gas mileage went up, it dosent understeer anymore (but im a drifter, so i force oversteer) And the car pulls harder and will absolutely MOVE from a 70 roll in 3rd gear compared to how it was. and yes, i can smoke the tires from a stop, riding it sideways -

yes, its an 88 with full time 4wd, d/r and difflock.. and i know it wont go anywhere with the difflock off, cuz it sends the power to least resistance. it runs / drives fine like this, i just wanted to make sure its not gonna hurt it with the stubs on the tranny open, and the difflock engaged all the time. It drifts nicely, and will spin the tires like crazy! -

first of all its done, along with my xt6 clutch setup. .. but, do i need to have something on the tranny side? Or just leave it open stubs? and am i going to ruin anything driving around with the difflock on? its much funner in rwd, it changed the dynamics of the car to my liking (oversteer).. just curious.

turbo coolant hoses arent too bad, get all the spare tire and heat sheilding out of the way and snake your arm down for the bottom one. I have BIG arms, and i can do it!

its adjusted fine.. I think it just needs time to wear in.. Kinda like fresh brake pads

clutch is in - along with the xt6 flywheel goodies how long to break in, it still slips a little when i dump it.. that should go away after a while right?

what size thread / studs go for the tranny, and also.. i need the size for the studs for the turbo.. i suck at sizing bolts, and the nearest store is FAR.. any help would be apreciated

well, it wont go.. i cant get it to line up on the way back in.. so im going to pull the tranny back, and drop in the motor, then stab tranny.. any tips?

i just got to thinkin, will the ac compressor lines "stretch" that far?
