  1. you dont flip the carb over because all the gas in the float bowl will spill all over your motor through the bowl vent.. It could start a fire.. other than that, you can flip em all around
  2. first off <--- PRO drifter.. second off.. why would you wanna do a swap to a sedan that can be converted to RWD so easily its not funny.. my RX (rwd) drifts ALMOST as well as my full tein suspensioned, poly bushing, fat stabilizer, 2.5 degree negative camber 300zx.. its all about the weight, and of course the tiny 13" tires And i hope you dont consider pulling the e-brake in a sentra drifting..
  3. hopefully this dosent surprise you... your lucky you didnt kill a bunch of other stuff... you just shortened their lives a little, there subarus, very tough
  4. wonder how many 88 rx sedans were made... i never see RX sedans, just 3 doors..
  5. yeah, cough if up.. but im thinking the timing was way off...
  6. ive had good luck with "restore" for N/A cars, it acutally does raise the compression back up.. i couldnt beleive it myself, so i tried it on a few other cars.. works, but dont put it in a turbo car.. zinc and turbos dont get along... i would think it would kill the bearings..
  7. please tell me your not driving around in your car with 18 volts.. that will fry many more things than your headlights
  8. at 18 volts 9004 bulbs usually blow out instantly... your bulbs are toast
  9. im telling you the truth, the freaking car has way more high rpm power now..
  10. take your justy to the track, get some 1/4 et;s post some time slips.. when you come back with some numbers let me know..
  11. on the na cars chopping the box just lets you hear some intake noise... not any power increase.. but on the turbo cars, theres a difference.. I noticed that when i did this to my RX, It made more power past 5k, it pulled WAY harder... definately do this mod turbo or non.. as for the "sucking in hot underhood air" yes, it does.. and the effect on horsepower is not noticeable.. im from south texas folks, you heard it from me first
  12. well, truth be told, im a die hard drifter... And when coming into a corner thats not setup correctly, i usually use the ebrake to "Stabilize" and angle my drift coming into the corner. (im not and ebrake drifter - just when its not setup right) well, i was in a set of corners that required a little "angle adjustment" coming toward a hairpin.. the handbrake locking the front wheels didnt help.. but i was able to keep from crashing.. I need a faster ratio steering rack, understeer is damn dangerous..
  13. bwhahahahha.. i like your car, dont get me wrong.. but my RX will take breakfast lunch and dinner from you..
  14. I dont beleive thats photoshop.. girls LOVE my RX.. theres 2 girls in our local street scene that love a guy with a boosted daily driver.. they even call it the wrx's ghetto grandpa
  15. lock the drive wheels... good thought.. even though on FT4wd models if you pull the ebrake you can smoke the back tires cuz thats where the center diff sends the power.. .. i just wont use the ebrake for hairpins...
  16. They both go to the front.. no one knows why.. Well, after driving it today, its ok.. built in line lock, im RWD
  17. i can spin the car around in reverse just fine with my foot brake.. but why the hell not put it on the back where it belongs?
  18. out of all the subarus ive owned and looked at, its 50/50.. some grind, some dont.. just depends on the previous owner i guess.., ive rode with people that put it into first coming to a light at like 30mph (with the clutch in of course) just to have it ready for when its green.. im like WTF? just wait till you stop...
  19. why subaru decided to put the ebrake on the front? I almost killed myself in the RX tonight...
  20. did you accidently drain the engine oil or the diff oil?
