June 11, 201411 yr Nice looking RX. seems someone took good care of her. i like the corner markers and head light squirters. we didn't get those in the US.
June 11, 201411 yr Is that 1.29 Euro per liter? Ouch! lol Nice looking car though, the older ones seem to be in such great shape in Northern Europe.
June 11, 201411 yr Beautiful car, just needs a radio now. I like the steering wheel and AC buttons. Welcome to USMB!
June 11, 201411 yr Author Is that 1.29 Euro per liter? one liter petrol cost about 1,60 Euros here in germay at the moment, that are about 2,17 US Dollar Thanks for the welcome... :-) the buying of the car has a special reason... it would be a present next year... if someone here can read german, they can read the full story here (its a longer threas with more pages): https://www.subaru-community.com/privater-marktplatz/suche/100988-subaru-leone-coupe-1800-turbo-gefunden-bericht-thread-111/ and sorry for my bad english... P.S.: its not my only one subaru, i have several others, only special rare models :-) great forum here... the only good one i know especially for the older models...
June 11, 201411 yr I wish my 2 RX's were in such good shape, I would keep their interiors if they did lol. Thank for for post this. Edit: Such a cool gift for a father too, great story (with some translation) Edited June 11, 201411 yr by Ibreakstuff
June 12, 201411 yr That steering wheel! I love it! Nice RX welcome to our community! Greetings from new Jersey
June 12, 201411 yr Wow, super clean. I might have to ask to visit for a personal inspection the next time I'm in Germany Beautiful car, just needs a radio now. I like the steering wheel and AC buttons. Welcome to USMB! That's the standard for everywhere outside the US. And it's still missing the A/C button in the middle of the fan speed switch. The US spec setup confuses me

They had to puts words on the usdm ac/heater controls, we are too stupid to make out diagrams lol. I wonder how many actual RX coupes (the 3 door type) were made worldwide? 2600 is the number thrown around here for the total g56b vin RX's in the USA. Edited June 12, 201411 yr by Ibreakstuff
June 12, 201411 yr Nice Subaru Coupé! ...I wonder how many actual RX coupes (the 3 door type) were made worldwide? 2600 is the number thrown around here for the total g56b vin RX's in the USA. The Numbers you have, are Limited to USDM / SOA information. Those coupes were sold in Asia, Latin America, etc... mainly with the EA71 (1.6L) engine, and some with the EA65 (1.3L) Engine. The 1.8L (EA82) were known as GTi, as you can see, ~► HERE. Also those coupes were built in Waitara, New Zealand, sold as Subaru Omega. Here, a Couple of Threads with Pics, of ... EA65 Coupe: http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=75938 EA71 Coupe: http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=50229 Kind Regards. March 21, 201511 yr Center diff lock, like a transfer case locker in a 4x4(: I have an 87 RX also, just needs an engine haha
March 21, 201511 yr Also has a limited-slip rear diff(: kinda weird.. the first RXs, like my friends 84, had the selector lever with Fwd, 4wd hi (unlocked diff), and 4wd lo (locked diff)
March 21, 201511 yr Looks really nice... is it dual range full time (high/low) or single range full time??
March 21, 201511 yr All RXs came with full time 4wd dual range.. except the lo is only 1.19:1 compared to the regular dual range which is 1.59:1
March 21, 201511 yr Ummm.. apparently overseas got a single range full-time 4wd in the RX.. that's too bad haha
