Seems to me that there are a lot of 82's running among the ranks of the board members. I would like to get an idea of how many there are exactly. So if you've got an 82 Brat post in here. Also knowing if it's a GL or DL would be kewl, as so far, I'm the only DL (well, WAS a DL) that I know of.

82 DL baby!!! Yup - 82 DL, 4spd single range...... currently no engine (out/apart), but I'm bringing this baby back from the dead and plan make 'er the envy of many a GL

 

So you might want to cover an eye for this... its a 'before' shot.... looks better than it is (and is the 'good' side)

Yep. I have one, it's a GL. Originally a California vehicle.

82 DL, NO T-Tops! Fairly unique. I believe Ed's son's is also a 82 and I think his is also without T-tops.

82 Gl here, it had aftermarket AC though and I thought that was odd. In all honesty I was hoping to find an 83+ because my original BRAT was an 86 and I always liked the 4 headlights. However the 82 GL is the one that the Tamiya R/c BRAT is based on so it is a pleasure to have the 82 and it's mini me.

Mines an 82 DL in great shape. Not to many here in Ohio. I cant seem to post any pics becuase theyre too large or something and Im a computer idiot and I dont know how to scale it down. Sooo if I send you a pic can you post it for me??????

Oh yeah, I need an antenna for mine. Any of you 82 owners have An extra one lying around???? If so, email me at tbag1331@yahoo.com. I also need a shifter knob in grey or black. Mine is cracking and starting to become loose. Thanks.....

82 GL, 142K (66K on engine) pretty much bone stock (well until I bob it, lift it, weber it, legacy seat it and herculine pretty much everything on it)

 

Got it for $500 because it needs alot of rust fixed, but the frame looks halfway decent, its just the firewall, rockers and bed that suck.

 

3rd eye is there but I need to fix the wiring for it because it doesnt work.

 

Its currently being used as a pizza delivery unit
