Cupholders for Loyale?

Featured Replies

If I were to design a 3D printed cup-holder to replace the Loyale's slide-in center console (between the seats and under the handbrake), would people be interested? I'm currently modeling it for my '92—not having cupholders has been brutal. Also, is Srj still actively fabricating parts for the these older subarus? He hasn't updated his website in forever.

Cheers,

-Alex

yes! i would love the print file! maybe design one that uses the ash tray too?

I just installed some boat ones on the dash. Tall cups hit the windshield, but it works. The middle is just too tight for cups, always hit them while shifting. Might work ok with an auto?

oh yeah your right,  what about somthing that replace the top part of the center glove box

I have yet to get mine up and running.
I’d certainly be interested in seeing what you have for an option.
Yeah the older models are really lacking for the amenities that we have these days.

First world problems! You’ve got two hands for a reason right B)

So many options here - map holder mods to accommodate a cup holder, window ledge, something that clips to the little shelf in front of the passenger on the dashboard (could interfere with the vents).

Or travel with a passenger that’s good at hold cups full of liquid :drunk:

In my '86 EA82 GL DualRange Wagon, the cups that you get from the drive-throughs fit wonderfully between the Driver's seat and the E-brake. The transfer-case lever keeps the cup from tilting forward, and the center console/armrest from going backwards.

Depending how tall of an order you get (cup) I just reach past the cup for the trans-shifter. Not like it requires any real effort to shift, its like working a Toy.

Those paper-multi-cup-holders also work well, the ones they give you are the drive-thru, as long as you keep your turns under a G.
