Wow, just wow. Now I need to know what you've got planning to go into the car......

Very nice! Sounds really mean. So I bet you can pull right away from all the kids in their WRX's?!! That's really cool and really impressive numbers!

Maybe and exhaust cutout could give you some

more top end ponies? How much are you gonna sell it to me for?

If you keep up the progress your car should be safe in a passing situation pretty soon. Nice job!

sweet!

Got a dyno plot you can post? Vid is kinda hard to read.

what kind of dyno was used?

what did you do differently between the two runs? more boost? tune?

also it says it's uncorrected but the plots are not crossing at the correct spot. What's going on there? sorry i'm such a buzz kill!

what are you running for mods?

Good looking out. What is going on there? We should be seeing them cross at 5252 RPM.

Have you ever seen a dyno sheet that does cross at the correct point? I haven't

Nice wagon btw, for a EA82 body style anyhow! :P

the blue is with the Z4 ECU and the red is with the ViPEC ECU and tune.

I dont know why they are not crossing at 5252. i have lots more sheets. i will see about getting another one for you...

lol maybe that's why cars in australia always seem so much more hardcore. their dyno plots are totally buggered with... :P

seriously though. My local tuner shop (rocketrally) uses a dynodynamics which is known for reading 'correctly' (low). Big heated debates about it but he makes it a rule to not scale his graphs... makes a lot of people who spend piles of money cry...

W3rd. Both runs cross between 5-6k. It probably depends on the smoothing algorithm used for the display....

I tooo have seen only a small number of dyno sheets that look perfect.

I heard the cost of calibrating a dyno as often as it should is way too much and that's why they all read different and "wrong". Still, its nice too see the line and where you get the power. I don't pay attention to the final highest number though. To me track times are more important.

I bet that wagon would fly though, too much fun to be had in it.

we will see. i dont do alot of 1/4 times. but i am looking forward to this spring, i will be doing some fun runs.

i just got my launch control working. i have done a few 3200RPM launches. seams to work well. it builds 5PSI of boost at WOT with the timeing retarded 5*.

i will not be doing any high RPM launches but this should help my 60' times and ultimately my 1/4 times and trap speed.

Seriously cool!

That is cool. Love it's sound and looks. That's a wagon you don't want to pick on, unless you got the torque to keep up with it.:)

OMG! i Love Your GLWRX

I Want It. < Seriously Do

Gonna fight you for it....... J/K

Awesome job

that sounds fantastic, i ran it through my 5.1 with the sub turned up, absolutely great car, very clean and understated - till you open it up :slobber:

i just keep watching this over and over, it just sounds so unlike anything else, i sent a link to some of my gear head friends - I'm sure they'll get a kick out of it too

wouldn't it just make you cry to have your audi, porsche or other smug mobile pasted by some guy in a subaru wagon?

i love it
