I've seen that pic many times before. But it's the first time that I noticed the welder, then the fact that he's weling beside the fuel tank it appears.

I think its time to bump this up, the shop-talk forum is NOT THE PLACE FOR VEHICLE-SPECIFIC REPAIR QUESTIONS/PROBLEMS. Its for talking shop, tools, general mechanics, home made gadgetry, etc. If you have a problem with a Legacy/Impreza, post in in NEW GEN FORUM. If its a Loyal/GL/DL/Brat, etc. post it in OLD GEN FORUM. You get the picture. Thank you!

I think it's time to require moderator approval in this forum,

due to the plethora of misplaced posts.

Similar to the offtopic forum.

Could make it easier on those who have to move the two or three a day that get posted here.

Just my two pennies.

"Would you say I have a Plethora? eh, yea. I'd say you have a Plethora... So please, tell me, what is a Plethora? You say I have a Plethora and you don't know what it means!"

Sorry, was a line from the Steve Martin, Chevy Chase movie "The three amigos" Lol

My question is How to coordinate to loan for maximum assist?

More specific; I like many, have made tools in order to do a job I may not revisit for years. Because I did the job correct and the tool worked well enough. I know that "making the right tool" often takes as long as the job. So is there any thought to how tools would be sent to say someone who really just wants to get the job done and send them off to somebody else?

I'm talking about a long tool which fits nicely inside the eng compartment across the unistructure to hold the crank pulley center. Another more crude, a yoke type spanner to grip and hold the timing sprocket spokes.
