What Have You Done to your Soobie lately? (Please post in here and keep it going)

It's not what I have done. BF is doing it. He's been busy painting exterior, refurbishing bumpers, rims, mud flaps, all side strips etc. Still has a couple more add ons like skid plate and roof rack to go. And some fine-tuning on the paint job.

Will post pics when the 86 Hatch is done.

My job is to think of a new name - I've called him Hatch Boy since I got him and I think he is looking fantastic and needs a "heavier name".

I changed the engine yet again in my 83 Leone for another EA81. Now I've got an exhaust leak and I've got to replace my inner cv (DOJ) boots on both front shafts. That should happen today.

in the process of cutting my fenders to clear the bigger tires whoo! oh and 4 the record 225 70s rub on stock suspension.

replaced O2 sensor and am waiting on the clutch to come in so I can replace it and get my wagon working!

Sweet, but you're missing some trim there ;)

Awesome.

What I did to my suby today, is drive it, and I will be driving it more today.

And keep worrying about that drivers side wheel bearing that's getting louder.

Why do the driver's side wheel bearings hate me so much?

Same one that just detonated on my BRAT

Just got new struts. kyb gr2. finally got here... going to go put them on! How hard is it to make a srping compressor? goin to just do that instead of renting one... Got new exhaust gaskets to put on, the pass side blew out the other day, havnt drove her since put the bumper on. Going to sandblast and paint it too. Been driving the 88 gl10, think its getting ready to take a poo. . .:-\ getting weak.

-twitch- ive had this bumper for years. just found something cool enough to put it on.

I dunno...I had a simular problem with the driver's front half shaft. I replaced about twice as many on that side than the passengers. But only on the 86.

Replaced my XT's two "front sway bar end link bushings" which took a while to locate and receive from the Subaru dealer. Next is flushing out the A/C and replacing some orings, then charging with R12 Freon

I picked up my six lug conversion from MR. Brat:banana: Just have to finish the rear portion of the lift and then do some fender bashing.

Mike

finished the 6 lug swap. drilled out the wheels. the 215 70s do rub sometimes. so more bashing and beating is to come. haha. mobs way gnarlier though. especially in the sand too. handles better with the wheel offset. i dig it lotsdeds. looks frickn shweet 2

I replaced my O2 sensor, and now Xandra runs well again!

Hopefully my gas mileage will go back up now

And I started sanding the rust out of the bed of my BRAT.

Its gonna take a while, a looooooong while.

Esp. if my drill battery only lasts 10 minutes at a time.

I think I'm gonna need to use the corded drill and grinder.

Let em try that next week at Martinsville :slobber:

Edited by asis

wouldn't need a shoot for the drag strip.

Installed powersteering in the brat tonight.

Weeell, the O2 sensor didn't fix my problem, so I started mentally diagnosing my

car tonight.

And continue to worry about my rear wheel bearing... :-\

Twitch

the spoiler is for autocross and yes it kills milage but creates down force at lower speed so the trade off may be ok. I will find out this week end when I race it.

Working on getting the Tranny back in... the weather seems to work against me though.
