It started slipping bad tonight on my way to work. I am about 95% ready to throw down on a factory cable.

They should have said: "Take this STi to help ease the suffering..."

What I was thinking, I had put this thing in about 4 months ago, and never really got it right. Thinking about taking it to the dealership around here and have them put it in. I hate putting these in and would rather just pay them.

I cant seem to get my cable just adjusted right, it will feel like I will have it fine for a couple of days and then it will just go back to the way it used to. The pedal will sit about 2 inches below the brake pedal and when I push in I get a real nasty squeak. Nothing seems to work and I have adjusted this thing several times with no permanent solution. Bad cable or what?

While me and the girl friend was riding the tram back to the car yesterday I spotted a first gen legacy painted a ruby red with gold wheels, was an SS cause I seen the hood scoop. Was wondering if it was a board members, cause this thing was SHARP.

I went to the dealership the other day and purchased a new oem drain plug and the ring that goes with it for my brat. I go to looking at the ring and am wondering which side goes flush with the oil pan? The ring looks to have a flag side and a rolled side.

Did you go and get your alternator checked? They can work halfway sometimes and fully others, what happened to me last week.

Ive rescued in worse shape, its got the standard EA81 rot on the steering wheel so don't feel bad.

I bet it has a six speed.

Throwing a little STi in there always fixes things.

The EA81 threw a red flag to me too.

So could an STi key be cut for an EA81?

I just swapped out my 200k worn out cluster for a 65k into my blue brat. Before the swap I was getting a low voltage reading and the Brake Fluid and Stop Lamp Lights as well as the low fuel and voltage lights would not come on. What part of the wiring carries these things so I can look at trying to fix this part of my electrical mess. Thanks.
