  1. I would just simply go with a new clutch cable. You have to crawl underneath your dash to where your clutch pedal is, pull out a little pin that holds the cable to the pedal, then unbolt it from the clutch fork underneath the hood. DO NOT DO THIS IN A HURRY! I made that same mistake and it took me forever to get everything back in order, a new cable is also a pain in the butt to snake through the firewall to the fork because its so stiff.
  2. Just got ahead and find you a turbo kit, be ALOT cheaper than owning a WRX if you factor in insurance. STi for my grandma was $900.
  3. I believe that it is STRONGLY recommended that you run high octane fuel in a vehicle that has anything that aids to aspiration (turbocharger/supercharger). My aunt has a super-charged Grand Prix and she accidentally but regular in it and it through the ECU all out of wack, they had to drain the gas tank cause it made it run like garbage.
  4. Mine broke off about the same way yours did. I just simply bought a new clutch cable and that fixed it for me cause it came with something that replaced that part. It helped my problem but my hatch still needs a clutch like a mother.
  5. I wish my local junkyards had a plentiful supply of Subarus. All they got is one brat, 1 XT, 1 XT6, and a GL coupe, all ragged out bad.

  7. Well, I dont think I am going to be anywhere near any Ferraris' any time soon. I just thought it would have been a good idea. Especially since most people dont have one an OEM owners' manual.

  10. My hatch does it too. Girlfriend just laughes at it cause she thinks the whole car is a piece of sh*t.
  11. I know how you feel about the dash. I wanted to replace the speaker in the hatch but apparently its in the freaking vents! Someone tell me what is up with this.
  12. Ive always wanted to do it in the hatch with the back sets laid down and the hatch propped up. That could work.
  13. I own one of them too. Probably wont go back with it, damn tacoma can't handle ANY modifications what so ever.

  15. Don't hold me too it but I heard blue smoke is a pretty common thing on turbocharged vehicles.
  16. I just usually took the cover off the master cylinder, took a flat head screw driver and pushed the pads back from the rotors and that will push the brake fluid up through the lines and out the master cylinder.
  17. is it too old to run a good deep carfax report? Maybe that would help some.
  18. That's why I thank God everyday that Tennessee doesn't require emmissions tests. If they did the number of cars on the road would drop by %40, that I am convinced of.
  19. Seriously sounds like alternator, jump the car off to where it will start and then pull the positive terminal off the battery, if it dies, its your alternator.
  20. Apparently ole Matt Groening is a Subaru fan, Ive seen more mention of Subarus on The Simpons than any other show.
  21. Thats how a buddy of mine was from high school. She never could get her mind around why you need anit-freeze/water in the radiator. Someone told me they get kinda warm under the hood? Whodathunkit??
