Hope you got some sleep. I'm going to see Charlie later today. Might swing up your way over the weekend. Looks like they wiped the mod out of me,so I'm just another member ,yeah that kind, ...again. Jesse, remind me to talk to you about a possible road trip.

'74 Suby. "I think"
The bumper a the dead give-away. It's a '72 or '73. Most likely a '73. Her centercaps look great from here. Steal them for me!

Check what "ettev" did with his, please. And there's another guy who bought my old Gen II. He's in NH but I can't think of his board name.

Subaru Leone Coupe
So has anyone actually seen one of these unicorn 4WD 70's sedans? Wondering how many they actually made and what market(s) they were in. OK,I gave in and watched the movie. Pretty funny to watch that chase scene. Was that a fiberglass fender on the white car? I have one, maybe two, can't rememebr if I ever got the other side. I'll need to go back and hit pause sometime to get some ideas transposed to my own cars. You can tell the red one if 4WD from the stance and when he throws it in reverse - that sound.

Gen 1 Brat -- front parking lights gaskets DIY replacements
Have to get lucky and find some on eBay as folks sell old stock items. No other source I'm aware of.

Well I guess its a slow process. Just keep in mind no matter how the admins play this out I'll be backing off and funnelling down my board and Subaru activity. I'm thinking that the nice folks in charge here figure time will pass and my heart will change. Cheers!

Don't take this the wrong way, please. I'll surely use your method or mfg'd parts for something I'd use for fun. As for restos I have some NOS. No,everybody,I don't have extras, sorry.

Subaru Leone Coupe
Same engine/fuel delivery as a GSR from Austrailia,Japan .... not sure where else? Very few of those left too. Can you post pictures without those advertisments? The ad screen goes black and blocks the pictures. So that looks to be around $4,000 USD ... not bad to me! The body, interior, and most of the car matches up to many still out there. Check Isreal for the closest to you if parts are needed. Our former '76 sedan is now at a dealer in Sweden, restored with around 37,000 miles on it. Sweden didn't get Subarus untill around 1982,so the buyer told me. All sedans and coupes of the bodystyle will be FWD only. That's the case here and as far as I know all over the world as well.

Subaru Leone Coupe
Achtung !!!! WOW!!! fantastic example!! I'm thinking that could be a 1600 .... outside chance its a 1400 but I'm less familiar with the European market Subarus. I'll be back ! Not much time to drool or conversation right now.

Hi Matt, I'll still be active, and married but just want to sidestep a bit. I'm going back to the path I was cutting about 3 years ago. Closing chapters and writing new, smaller ones. Projects coming soon and trying to get another business going as this economy hopefully creeps back to life. It's wicked bad here in the northeast. Don't believe a word of the garbage they tell you/us on the mass media trashboxes. But that's its own malady. One day we'll have to chat like I intended to once upon a time. I sure do want to make a trip to AK someday. cheers!

Perhaps you'd like to step in? Petition the Mods and hopefully they make a fine choice. I wish some of the older guys spent more time here but I completely understand why they don't. I'll still be here, don't worry about that. Cheers!

Check what others have done restoring Brats before taking GD and BHeiny too serious.

'74 Sedan....my love affair had begun.
Cool, things should open up for me soon and I'll be more active with helping you and Jesse. Man I'm so glad I'm going to have lots of company this year. Even though I made the decision to give up the '74 to Jesse I'm still going to be bent over a 1400 too.

'74 Sedan....my love affair had begun.
errr, uhhh, geez I can't remember for sure but if it wasn't in the trunk it must be back in my storage. THat's the wingnut type, right? Like in the scans? I might have a couple extras this spring.

'74 Sedan....my love affair had begun.
Yikes! I think you have a better chance of location an early Coupe with the disks. Coupes had them from '72 up. T-tops means its a Gen II from 1982-87. Not sure but seems like there'll be a LOT of work there. So,did any of that scanning help?

'74 Sedan....my love affair had begun.
Does this have the "city horn , country horn" pull out switch left of the steering column? I'm pretty sure they only had those for '74 and '75 Party over for me, I need to sleep. See you later from work or tomorrow. Cheers!
