How many people again? Who likes Ribs? Do you non red meat suckers want to try some Caribean (Jamaican) vegetarian? We've got a killer little place not far from me. Usually only one or two of his choices are "hot-spicy". Otherwise all dishes are very flavorful and he also has basic cabbage and/or broccoli.

Aye! you've done well laddy !! -
My '78 has never been down and still gets used. Tough to make too many events at such distances with our schedules. I do want to attend at least one ice event. Two of us did a TSD with the Finger Lakes gang years ago. Would be great to get back up that way again. MPG rally sounds like a great one!

My 73' Coupe Restoration
moosens replied to Datsunrides's topic in Historic Subaru Forum: 50's thru 70's
I have some. But at this time I'm not able to dig out parts. There's at least one other guy here who had NOS of those and there's plenty of used ones in my stock and my friend's. I'm sending a contact thru PM. -

Carlise May 15-17th the East Coast Meet
moosens replied to moosens's topic in Meet n' Greet. Your USMB Welcome Center
Well I done went and offended one guy. :-\ Going to be 2 groups here - lets face it. Those who wish to attend and would like to write a letter to settle (after discovering) our differences with the Carlisle staff. Or if they even have a problem with the "Subaru Group" at all. Maybe by now they've noticed that within any group there'll be incidents. And the group who thinks its not worth the effort to go back. I don't see where the second group is going to help the first group much with the letter. wouldn't have it any other way. I'm saying let there be one letter from one person instead of many to start. And that person should state in the letter that they represent the group. They won't ban us from the event. We're a growing group and lets face it Asian cars in general are going to be taking up much more space in the coming years. -

I'm tired and will need to adress this more clearly in the future but for now.... tent?? -- plenty of tents out there. I have one of those about that size that I got at Sears dirt cheap - ain't never used it but would be easy enought to bring along. I think its a 12' x 12'. Letter - yes but from ONE person representing us and hopefully someone who keeps their cool. The content of the letter should be inquisitive not barking back over the fence. "What was the factor that determined this person (Jon) cause harm, damage,or disruption? Can't he be forgiven as the engine revving Volvo retards and such were more annoying???" - that sort of approach. Perhaps we can all sign our names to it. Attending Carlisle - I sure will go again sometime. Yes about the common Volvos etc. but to me its the last place to see some REALLY GREAT cars. Perhaps a tone down from the redneck rallying that's occured a few times in the last 3 years or so. That is IF you want to go back with a Group. Personally I feel if you're there on your own and make an arse of yourself with a Subaru you taint the whole image of anyone driving a Subaru. Elsewhere - for sure we could always use a good gathering spot and indeed we do on occasion. Connie's - the Barrens - and there's plenty more places. Tired now - see you guys later... and please DON'T ANYONE GET OFFENDED !!!!!!! -

Sorry,I've barely had time to breeze thru the board this past week. Todd seems to be busy too. I'll check the manuals and have to get back to you maybe later tonight but most likely tomorrow. Sending PM -
Once upon a time there was a Gen I Brat at Faust in Allentown PA. It's over across the highway they were putting in which slightly divides the property. There is nobody specializing in 70's Subarus except the folks here. Used to be places like Hal's would be able to help us but all shops we know of have ditched the 70's stuff a long time ago. There's also another Gen I Brat on Rt. 206 in NJ around Mt.Holly and Vincentown (?? check me on that) but anyways its above Rt.70 and below Exit 7A.....if travelling southbound on 206 it'll be on the right - a place I believe is called "Haggarty's" Auto repair. So parts among owners and another guy who has tons of parts up here too might have some pieces for you.

Please don't believe too much of what one guy says. THere are air dams out there. They don't come up often. It would look great - good luck and I hope you find one. This car is NOT a Subaru factory car its been modified by one of 2 companies that did these for US Dealers. There were more or less 50 made on each coast. Go wild ! -
