  1. cool, yes you are right about meekymoose, thats were I got these. they were on the RX (ROXY) as my 8 year old daughter has named here, before he sold the car to NUG(both in virginia). I paid NUG for the RX.and while I was going to tow her home 1250 miles each way, these rims (and some 8 spoke flat face 15 pugs both came on the board for sale. I paid $350.00 for both sets:banana:  both sets are cherry. Both from MEEKYMOOSE. This means that you and I may possably have the/or close to the only rims in the U.S.A. MEEKYMOOSE told me that he bought these off EBAY GERMANY,and had them shipped from there.
  2. I wanted to know, how many people own, have owned, or have seen these wheels in the u.s. or abroad.?

  9. I want to go:banana: i wanto gooooo unfortunatly im in the area(stuck) in pheonix delivering,in a freightliner columbia, and grabbing a load of tomatoes in nogales.or yuma and hot footing it to kingman/or east to las cruces up 70/60 to amarillo and east to missouri. But man I would love to4x with some of you club members running your subbys around.and man oh man did the good lord bless that section of the U.S, with the best real estate for open off roading. And P.S, what happened to the outstanding post were that club member from austin tx drove to mexico and adventure trip that dude took SOLO to old mexico in his ea81 gl wagon. You guys want plan an adventure, hook up with that cat,and pull a once in a life time trip to rocky point(puert penasco) were the colorado dumps into the gulf.(and he knows his espanol) you could go and not worry with some one like that. If anyone knows that post or how to bump it up PLEASE FIND AND RE BUMP> it was truly one of the best ive seen on here.party on:cool:
  10. One thing about the subaru head gasket, once its fixed, its fixed. I will take that any day over the BMW issue, or the honda tranny issue.
  11. You should see what they will do in a severe ice storm with 4 studded tires. you will probably be making $$$ pulling every one out. we got the ice and snow too. im near springfield mo. im about 3 hrs from you. and i have 2 85 wagons (one thrasher/1 parts) and a nice turbo 4x4 sedan rx rear l.s.d.. Cant wait to lift it!! have you ever heard of little sahara? or the canadian river? do you ever go there?. I want to go camping and 4x4ing at the millions of spots on the canadian. welcome to subaru heave.n
  12. Nice car, what year is it? I have an 85 rx and I thought after getting it that I had to sell it,but may not have too.(wife had medical problems/now ok)so I have plans to lift and restore. Is yours 4wd or 2wd or awd? is it turbo? It sure is a great looking car. I also like the fold in mirrors.
  13. Ill get some better pics of the costom fenders, and the desert scene airbrushed on the tailgate.
  14. Not yet. I loaded them onto the user gallery (titled MY OLD BRAT) and If I can link the adress ill get it figured out. thnx everone. P.S. The steel custom fenders are worth looking at. Its alittle hard to see the work. Ill get some closs up pics. Ive considered making some layup fiber glass molds if we get enough people wanting them reproduced with ea81/ soon grafted on to ea82. and check out my custom(cant get em) 1 off centerline rims, still in great shape after beeing in the car since 1986.(freind of 1st owner worked there).

  17. can anyone explain the process from, create thread to the end? and explain 50kb,how do I resize before? will It make the picture large again? Do I cick on insert image? or do I use manage attatchments? When I used managed attatchments and browsed and linked it,uploaded, it keeps telling me the size is too large. 50kb max and my photos are @515kb:confused: I can draw my avatar on windows paint program, but I cant figure this one.
  18. Is that the brat that was for sale with the bad h/g in santa rosa about 2 months ago? nice job:slobber:
  19. Yep, all around the world same song, have (anyone), you ever heard of this h a c valve? your discription sounds exactly like what mine does. what to do?
  20. Love those sedans. glad you got it. 2wd? ive got a 4wd gl10 turbo wagon for parts
  21. H A C valve? I asked for info several months ago,and got some good replies, but my problem was more of a studder/flutter. Is this the same thing that your descibing? type.(85 RX Turbo/87 motor.)85 controls/flapper m.a.f.. it usually runs great under full throttle, but under no loads at an idle it has a couple hesetation flat spots. and in normal driving it has a constant chug chug chug(more annoying than anything) some one said to check the H A C valve. am I correct to assume that this is the valve that supplies vacuum pressure to the a/c controlls for operation. the club member ? said they had chased this problem for ever before they finally figured it out. the h a c valve had an internal leak and was making the air fuel mixture constantly bounce around. I read in the Haines manual that this is a common problem. any ideas? thnx. and I also wanted to ask GD ,I bought some m.a.f. cleaner and was wondering if I should run it thru on the car or revove and clean? thnx
  22. Alllllllllllll righty then. Ive tapped my brain(very limited) and still dont get it.I dont want to attack.what happened to the beauty of all wheel drive. Im glad your subes in good shape and most of all no one was hurt. please help us understand, the suspense is killing us, what is making the law of subanomics not exist on your vehical. studs are 45.00 each, and 4 on a sube are unstoppable on pure ice. Ahhh.wait is it front drive?
  23. A horse with no name.I love my wife and daughter, but if I were single and young again I would definatley be there with ya. Thats reminds me of a trip to a small fishing village called Loreto, B.C.(now it has an international airport) in the 80s. But In this case we are praising you as much as the car,if not more. How did i miss this when it first came out. what a wonderfull adventure, and a great treat for us to enjoy.Thank you. P.s. great spanish.and more huevos than most people I know.
