Dude ADJUSTABLE CAMBER? for goodness sake man paste a link to the site, for those of us sleeping during prior discussions. Your info says you have a loyale. Is that what this is going on? And also,do the GR2s come "cartarage only"? or are they alreadt inserted into the lower housing? on RX/LOYALE/WAGON EA82s? THANX VERY MUCH:cool:

Im not the best one to give you the best answer, but I know one thing for sure, there are alot of people that will help steer you right.what ever you purchase better be right the first time this is a biggie, keep as small diamater as possable.tires too wide sucks, and too much (-)negative offset will kill your bearings. Id go with a stock toyota specs. 28x9.50x15 tires Im sure thats why your asking, can you post some picks before ,after and of the processes. good luck on your project.. Im currious about that kit. thnx

Looking for tube buggy pictures with subbie running gear
mykingcrab replied to Scott in Bellingham's topic in Off Road
Scott, Im sure that this is not what your after. BUT since your looking down this path:confused: this gives me a chance to suggest and share an idea I had for a build way before I found usmb. Tube frames from www.berrienbuggy.com had the bottom sections tacked in a jig and you welded on your torsion housing, and the rest if the kit yourself.the warior 2 seat was $250+shipping, well made .cheap as heck. I could not even buy the tubing, let alone mandrel bend it all correctly, knotch it,for near that price. And by changing the top bars you could radically change the dorky look and interior room. stick your ea in the front cab forward it and wallaa. Then as the owner of an argo 8x8 (a chain drive maze) I realized that gearing problems on a trail sube could easily be solved by 2/1 or 3/1 reduction by tig welding double 20 sprockets to the DOJ cups, chain drive to sprockets 3Xs reduced to the same attachment process thru bearing blocks to the axles (even had an external locker)and off to the wheels. simple external reduction. I had the specs drawn up at one time and tossed it. on the chain, double 20 is $8.50 per foot. and the sprockets are a bit more.I had it figured at about $200 total, including bearing blocks shafts and keys ect. and p.s. at this point,if anyone is unfamilliar with just how strong chain drive can be? here is a little mind changer.go here http://www.chaindriverail.com/and click on vidios. its not the best sight for illistrating and showing their products.they wont show you detailed pics, because their ticked about people stealing their ideas. -
supercharger carb blow-through setup on ea81?
mykingcrab replied to scrap487's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
Exactly right. This pressure sensitive regulator (970subaru say)is the key to old school blow thru.at an idle the fuel pressure is low (like stock),as soon as boost is detected by a pressure switch, it instantly raises fuel pressure. There is a clear glass window on their fuel reg.(RFPRR), you can see it trickle at an idle and when you hit the gas ,you can hear it swich, and see it start dumping fuel full blast.on/off-on/off. that quick.. MELLOYELLOWs brother in cal has a 2000cc stock vw water cooled vanagon/autotrans in a jane plain looking rail,But when the garrett t4 goes to 11psi (and no shifting delay)it pisses off the high dollar long travel rails. at the top of the hill they all come over to see what kicked their butt. In the back of hot VWs magazine, there is an add for the BOOK.How to turbo any engine. mellowyellows contemplating this on an ea81.I THINK THIS WOULD WORK KILLER ON ANY EA81 Me personally, id just end the problem of need for more power, and get the equally reliable EJ22.+adapter+wire harness.if you dont want to be difficult, buy a rubbermaid container and throw the EJ harness in there and in the sparetire compartment.Done. Heres som pics of an ea81 with a blower. The carb looks like a stromberg SU.(brittish)look at the bottom of this page for similar threads Supercharger for EA81 -

I have traded for an e/b 92 4x4 explorer. I have a picture some were the new owner (close friends and partner with WILLIE NELSON) zzz stretched it (already a wiener dog) 3 more feet employed a long trailing arm and freightliner airbags ond mounted a radically beefed up dodge ram cummings diesel turbo mid engine, and drag raced it. then they drove it to DENNIS WEAVER home in TAOS NEW MEXICO.(he died last year) It then got converted to a toyota motor home still mid eng. with a dog house, and toured to Washington D.C, in a PARADE for BIO DIESEL. Ill search for the pic.

We both have em. the meeky ones are on mine now:banana: Im currious too! I like your wagon, and those rims top it off. Mine look great on ROXY. We may have very rare wheels, atleast here in the USA. JOOSTVDW in the NETHERLANDS said he knows a guy with a set,and he wont part with his. I know one thing, Im glad they lock and you cant easily get to the lugs. TAKE CARE OF THEM!!!. THRASH ON PUGS not them babys. :burnout: P.S. They are the correct offset. -

cool, yes you are right about meekymoose, thats were I got these. they were on the RX (ROXY) as my 8 year old daughter has named here, before he sold the car to NUG(both in virginia). I paid NUG for the RX.and while I was going to tow her home 1250 miles each way, these rims (and some 8 spoke flat face 15 pugs both came on the board for sale. I paid $350.00 for both sets:banana:  both sets are cherry. Both from MEEKYMOOSE. This means that you and I may possably have the/or close to the only rims in the U.S.A. MEEKYMOOSE told me that he bought these off EBAY GERMANY,and had them shipped from there. -
I wanted to know, how many people own, have owned, or have seen these wheels in the u.s. or abroad.?

But man I would love to4x with some of you club members running your subbys around.and man oh man did the good lord bless that section of the U.S, with the best real estate for open off roading. And P.S, what happened to the outstanding post were that club member from austin tx drove to mexico and adventure trip that dude took SOLO to old mexico in his ea81 gl wagon.
