You could always swap them on when you get to the mudhole. . . Sweet 82 uses them on his monster garage creation. http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/member.php?u=584

USMB turnout for this weekend's Rally X? 3/20/05
I'll be there, but not for the School. I figure that if I did the School it wouldn't be fair to everybody. (Or I'm too poor) Gotta let you know though, that I'm gonna make a push for the Open Class this season and try to place in the top 3. In the grocery getter OBS even. lol Anyways, I'll be down there on Saturday, late afternoon. Open Class is running in the morning on Sunday, so I'll be at the fairgrounds good and early. Looking forward to seeing you all. (my tires had better get here on time. . .)

RallyCross woes.
- New ride, kept old ride
ezapar replied to unobtainium's topic in 1990 to Present Legacy, Impreza, Outback, Forester, Baja, WRX&WrxSTI, SVXWOW! Sexy indeed! The only New Soobie I'd want over that bad boy would be the Outback T. I know what you mean about how cool your leg is. Looks like we're going to sell the 97 imp sedan and buy a 90-94 leg wagon for her. A wagon makes more sense now that we have the kid.- Official Weber thread for OffRoad.........
Do any of you have problems with dieseling after you shut it off? If so, my buddy Brian just got the fix for the 38/38 on his FJ. He says the Toyota guys say it's the shnit. #WEB43914060B Weber Idle Solenoid, it costs 16.95. Basically, it's a fuel cut wired to your ignition. When you shut off the key, it kills your fuel flow. He got it thru * http://www.jtoutfitters.com *fixed, thanks Tim.- The OBS, taller with a Forester mod
Thanks. Last photo of it with the 15s.- I'm bummed (tire thing)
It's in the write up. http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=24979&highlight=offroad+tire+write Here's a photo of them on my unlfted 80 hatch. http://community.webshots.com/photo/37919799/60787825kfCkrs Mike W has had them on his hatch for 5 years or so, they still live after all he's put them thru. I dig them, but they're just a weee bit bigger than I wanted for the OBS. Smaller means more torque for more speed in Rally X. But the Kumhos will make up with their better traction. I'm psyched to take the OBS down 311 next time I go to Evans Creek! I almost did it last time I was there, but chickened out cuz I didn't have any faith in the Hakkis on the rocks. 6 ply will make me way more fearless.- I'm bummed (tire thing)
Maybe this one will work better. If you click on "specs", you'll get a photo. http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=Kumho&tireModel=Venture+MT- I'm bummed (tire thing)
Here's the link. . . https://www.tiresavings.com/tireShop.php?action=findCombined- I'm bummed (tire thing)
Yeah, the good ol' 27/8.50/14s. I called Kumho before I ordered them, the lady claimed they have LOTS of them in stock. Had to wrestle with Discount Tire over the price, but wound up with a set of 4 for $400.38 after shipping, install, and tax. My good buddy at the Cooper store called around and said that the 14s were discontinued. I couldn't find any listing at all for them on their website. . .- I'm bummed (tire thing)
Some Kumhos. I'd wait till I have photos to divulge, but suspense seems to get some folks' panties in a bunch.- I'm bummed (tire thing)
Appreciated, but I settled on and ordered tires today. Gonna be one baddass looking OBS.- I'm bummed (tire thing)
My problem with that is that I'll have to order them, no try before you buy type thing. . . (closes eyes, holds nose, jumps in) lol- I'm bummed (tire thing)
I went to try to buy some 195/75/14 Cooper Discoverer STTs, and it turns out they're discontiued. They don't make them in 14s anymore. Anybody sitting on a set they don't want? If not, I'm gonna have to find something else for the imp. Don't want anything bigger than a 205/75/14, cuz I want the torque for Rally X.- some pics of my brat an impreza
Let's get to lifting that imp Austin! Grab those GR2s, I'll help you put them on. I have a set of spring compressors. Think maybe I have some tires/wheels lined up for ya. Gimme a call.- The OBS, taller with a Forester mod
That's what I used, you'd be half way there. 100 bucks is a screamin' deal!- The OBS, taller with a Forester mod
The longer strut lets you use a taller tire.- '92 dressed for success
ezapar replied to Qman's topic in 1990 to Present Legacy, Impreza, Outback, Forester, Baja, WRX&WrxSTI, SVXIt's not black.- 2005 ORG Rally X seasons opens 03-20-05
It's still simple for me, I only play in the open class.- Thanks Eric!!!!!!
Nothing. I meant to send you the tires like you poasted you wanted, but the kid was due, then born, then. . . You know, it kinda got put on the back burner and I felt bad. . . So, I thought I'd make it right by adding a replica. Cheers EZ- For those with welded rear diffs...
When I buy offroad tires for my rigs, I always buy 5, and I buy 6 when I can. Here's why. 1. Nothing like having a full size spare! 2. If you rotate your spare in from time to time (assuming you only have 1) then you will get 25% more life out of your other tires. . . If you have 2 spares that you rotate in, your tires will last 50% longer. 3. Once you pop a tire, you have to buy that extra one anyways. Then you have a new tire you have to run with worn tires. - New ride, kept old ride
