Make sure you beat back the the inner fender wall with a bfh to keep the new springs and struts from rubbing. Hint. Attaching the tops of the struts to the car and then the wheel hub to the strut is 100 times as easy as the opposite.

Not sure how fast I was goin', but I saw 4 grand in 5th gear as I merged onto the freeway from the on ramp. That was after stopping to a dead stop first. Gets up pretty quick. Nice and noisy at 6000 rpms!!!

Austin I have a small floor jack you can borrow, along with a spare front axle. You really should aquire a spare of some sort. Like I pm'd you, the used tire store in Lake City had a spare forester wheel you could probably get a tire mounted on for 50 bucks. . . Gimme a call.

If you wanna come up Thursday, you'll have to grab a Hotel. There's a HUGE casino/hotel just a couple miles away. We won't be allowed onto the fairgrounds till Friday. Everyone has to be gone Sunday night. They're a little more strict about that than Hood River. . .

OK, here's with the addition of Outback springs to go with the Outback struts. And here's what the rear looks like now. Approx. 12 inhes under the rear diff, but the angles on the axles are totally tollerable.

Just spring for the Kumhos. They're an honest 27 and a proper mud tire. I've done the drive to Portland and back, plus 1k miles, they make good road tires too.

I believe the Scorpion wheels are about $140 plus shipping from AU. . . $480 for a set of 5 is much cheaper. His price is the same as the price Jerry charges for 4X140 14 inch wheels. A bill a piece.

13 or 17?. Here's 13, 18, and 20 together. The 18 from a 96 Japanese WRX, and the 20 from an 03 US WRX. Worlds of difference beween the three. I just gave the 18 back to the guy I was gonna buy it from and put the 20 back into the L. Now the L is happy again. Me too.
