  1. I'm psyched. Thanks. I think I'll go with Junkies idea, I'll whip up a map and simple directions to print on the back.
  2. Our phone call was less than a month ago. My relationships with John and Patrick have nothing to do with the way you've conducted yourself. But you accusing me of "outcasting" you because of who I'm friends with just makes me madder. As someone who is considering running a legitimate business, sometimes you have to put up with crap. As an organizer of the WCSS, I have to bite my tounge all the time. I'm doing so right now. Like I said, forget it.
  3. You and I talked in person on the phone, remember? I told you that you weren't known enough to be a sponsor and have your name on the same bill as Subaru West, but that we would allow you to be a vendor. You said you understood. Apparently you did not. Your comments, conduct, and tactics on the AU Subaru board have caused us to reconsider that offer. http://www.ausubaru.com/ausubaru/html/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=2900 We will send your money for a vendor's booth back to you ASAP. Forget it.
  4. Sponsors would be cool. Directions not needed, but a link to the site would be cool.
  5. Anybody out there with skills and resources wanna whip up a flyer for this year's WCSS? Here's the info. . . http://www.westcoastsubarushow.com/ Blue and yellow theme. Thanks in advance, EZ
  6. Try the FAQ at the top of the forum. Please refrain from posting the same topic twice. You'll find your other thread here: http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=33669&page=6

The kit comes with a spacer that allows you to re-install your factory skid plate.
  8. You go K. The front end takes a strong stomach, but I dig the body style. Don't know if it's powerful or not, but I'd like to drive it before I bag it. . . Probably though, I'd way rather have the one that Nissan makes that looks just like it.
  9. What I think Mike W was getting at. . . . . .was that in the situations when you could use them the most, both hands are gripping the steering wheel too hard to spare one to yank a lever.
  10. I know how to fix the ABS issue. Pull the fuse. All better, no dumb ol' "braking for dummies".
  11. You're welcome Corky. Are you suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuure about that hood? :-p

  13. I don't know where to ind my pics of the cutting welding part, but here's the rough finish after 12 inches of Bob. A little bondo and love pretty'd it right up. Here's after paint and a bumper and rollbar. I added truck mud flaps in the rear too.
  14. You'll pay the Park Staff themselves. We'll direct them to you when you show up. There will be plenty of room, so don't worry about needing to pre-register for camping too. Shouldn't need to worry about "pissing anybody off", you'll be with 300 of your closest friends.
  15. Now that I think about it, they stole the slogan too. Aaron's Auto Wrecking's slogan is "Subaru is all we do". . . Punks. As in. . . They say they only work on cars newer than 85. Fine. They put a magnet on my impreza saying that if I brought it in I'd get a free oil change. So I took the magnet and brought it in with my 86 hatchback. Dude said they didn't work on cars that old. He thought it was a '80. Doh! I told him it was an 86. So, he said he thought they didn't have any oil filters for it. Went into the other room to check, and comes out empty handed. Nope, no filters for it. Even though I know Loyale filters fit just fine, and they do work on loyales. Punks.
  16. Look man. It has to with a trade of favors. Subiesport gets the exclusive and covers us as a trade for advertisement and vendor's booth. Has noting to do with being open minded.
  17. I contacted 4 wheel magazine a couple years ago. Told them we'd be taking some soobs thru the Rubicon, asked them if they'd do an article. They said no, because their advertisers aim at big rigs only. (not even samurais or toyotas) They told me they'd put us in their news section with a couple of small photos after we came back from the Rubicon. I didn't follow thru because of the flack we caught on the pirate board. Subiesport mag will be at the WCSS photograghing, preparing to put us in their mag. They are a sponsor of sorts, so I wouldn't welcome another automobile magazine, including 4wheel or Offroad mag.
  18. The mud was worth the drive to Oregon. That noise that the XT makes is still in my head. 6000 rpms, and it screams!! More than one person said it sounds like a Porsche. Not a bad comment if ya ask me. Here we are at Rallitek doing some last minute dialing in. Got it good and muddy. But my personal favorite was this one!
  19. Hey G. . . You workin on those blasses yet? We're talking 60 days man, 60 days. . .
  20. This time there's an actual building set aside for a swap meet. Not just a corner on the grass. lol
  21. Tarps will let water bleed thru and will not protect the plywood. Tar paper will go on about as fast, will keep the plywood dry, and will be much easier to keep from blowing off in the wind. Besides, the paper has to go on before the roofing anyways, why not just put it on?
  22. Let's hope so. I'll be there in the after noon Ed, hope to see ya there. EZ
  23. I like that idea, I have a bunch of stuff on mini DV. Jibs, we should talk about organizing some collaboration at WCSS. Hunt me down when you get there .
