Indeed, PK doesn't see it as being very economical (and I agree) to make lift kits for the legacys and imprezas. Not only is a lift kit invloved, but the switchout to all new struts from a Outback. The struts a legacy comes with will not allow a bigger tire. If you wanna lift your legacy, you're gonna have to go to John or figure out how to do it yourself.
  2. 96, 2.2. Anybody have good or bad experience to talk about. Recommendations?
  3. shell/texaco mid grade. (hey austin. . . you mad or something? never call or drop by with surprises any more. . .) :-\
  4. The entry time is expired to make the "contest", but feel free to let fly with more photos of the offroad involving Subarus this past year.
  5. Cool vid Last year or something. No fins in the tail. I've been taping the WRC since 98-99, don't remember that one. . .

    Roughly 135.
  10. It's a wagon so the car seat can fit. . . The hatch just wasn't big enough for a car seat, speaker box, dog, and spare tire. . . You know I'll be bringing my boy with me when I offroad as soon as he's old enough to breathe. He'll be driving as soon as he's tall enough to touch the pedals and see over the steering wheel.

Perry. If you decide to go with the xceleration, get ahold of Sean at Rallitek, I think he's gonna go that route too. Maybe you guys could save some shipping. . . I'll stand by my statement that Aussies have bad taste in tires. I've seen photo after photo of lifted soobs with big giant roo bars with plain old AT tires. . . . . .And. Although the Soob lift kit may have originated in AU, I think the USA has become the land of the lift kit. I've owned 9 lifted ones personally, http://community.webshots.com/album/37919799NGXlOA and been in the company of more than anybody in the world except maybe Brett himself. Several times we've had 10 or more lifted ones together at one time. check out the link below my sig.

That sucker looks sharp! Nice choice in wheels as well. Beautiful pictures, I grabbed the one of it against the big background for my wall paper. Awesome. Get any inspiration from the vids?
  13. Good for you Jason! I didn't know, just assumed it would get the same as the forester. I guess I gotta maket he trip down there more often so I can keep up to date. lol It's tough to participate when one of the vollunteers is trying to sue me Nossir. Those are the ones from the L, keepers to be sure. It is an OBS. . . 96. The hood has been replaced, but I believe they came on that car. . . I will be updating the bumper to the RS one so I can add foglights. Already have one lined up.
  14. I wouldn't mind replacing it for ya Shawn. Gimme a hollar.
  15. They only tend to take 2-3 days. It still might make it on Saturday.
  16. Forgive me guys, I'm a little slower than I promised. Cammoman, yours will go out today. Morgan, yours will go out tomorrow, JWX, (your check came yesterday afternoon) hopefully yours will also go out tomorrow, if not, the next day. The whole car buying thing had me running around like crazy arranging finances and getting insurance and a few parts blah blah blah. Again, forgive me. questions? chairotsu at earthlink.net
  17. Yeah, but mine is known to be dependable with the 2.2. And, mine is mine. If I wanna rallyX it or take it to the woods, my wife isn't gonna tell me no like yours will. Thanks for the congrats.
  18. As soon as I can get the specifics and $ together to do it. Spent time at the Soob junk yard today looking at different Strut set-ups to see which would allow bigger tires. Found some. Now just need to pay back the $ I borrowed so I can get to buying some swampers to go on it. It's a 96. Need a bumper skin. Looking for one from an RS or newer OBS so I can get the fog light set-up too. . .
  19. Pester Sean at RalliTek. The RX we had had so much power it killed the stock clutch right away. Whatever set-up he came up with made that sucker smoke all 4. No shnit.
  20. We're gonna try to work it so we can keep both. A new trail rig? You just saw photos of it. Gimme a minute.

Why lift it and put such girly street tires and wheels? Lift looks good, but the Aussies have bad taste in tires. SWAMPERS BABY!!!!!!
  22. New Gen Shmu Gen. I don't know but 5 of the folks who post there, so they'd be like "big deal". Happy man am I! It needs a little TLC to beauty it up, I can handle it. Already have the parts lined up. Runs and drives perfect!! 111k on the odo, 5 speed indeed! $4175 after tax, how'd I do?
  23. Let Sean walk you thru a few mods, it will be. and more. Nice ride. Too bad you're not gonna shove that ej22t into it. . .
