  1. I'm gonna lock this and add it to the FAQ. If you have info you think needs to be added, pm me and I'll add it. Thanks Andyjo.
  2. Guess you've never read my license plate. That and you missed the part where I said I've got a toy for offroad now. No new vids. The camera's sole job is to film my boy.
  3. DO a search. Or at least read the contents of the front page. ie: the FAQ at the top, or the thread for those of you who missed the FAQ.
  4. Yeah, but that's not fair, you guys have like 60 states on the east coast, we only have 3. That would be like me counting Tacoma, Everette, Kirkland, Bellevue, Ballard, Kent, Federal Way, Tuquila, Beacon Hill, Shoreline, Mt. Lake Terrace, Lynwood, Edmonds, Isaqua, Sammamish, the U. District. . . You know you top the list of USMB people I wanna meet. Merry christmas Moosey.
  5. The fuse is good. I checked, and where it conects on both sides seem solid. Pulled them apart, cleaned them some, put them back together. Nothing. Help?
  6. If I could remember all the names of the people who've come to me for parts or help, I'd blow past 100 no problem. If I could remember half of the folks I've met at Soob meets, 200 easily. Damn memory. lol
  7. No lift besides struts and springs. 12 inches under the rockers and 11 1/2 under the rear diff!!! lol In an imp!! In its true glory! lol Compared to the L
  8. Soobs pulling Fords. mmmmmmm. Here's me pulling one out of the ditch. Thought he'd climb the hill, didn't know about the ditch. doh!
  9. That truck behind it is the one I sold to Marty. He blew up the rear end, so it don't go no where now. And he's out of town. I'm beginning to hate it. No. My Toy's got a sweet bumper on it, it's my offroader. The Swampers are mostly for s h ! t s and giggles. Had to buy them when they came up for sale. Probably just for snow. I'd like to score a new set between now and WCSS8. I've had them a few times on Soobs. These are actually the set that was on the last lifted hatch I had. Being a little bald, they really stick. No new trimming, just a little tickle with the BFH where you can't see it. I'll put up better photos today. I wanna try to find a stock OBS to park next to.
  10. had to do some beatin' to get them to not rub. Also had to add some washers to act as spacers, cuz they were rubbing on the rear struts just barely. The washers were just barely too big, so I wrapped tape around the studs to center them for balance. Totally ghetto fab, but it works fine. I'll put up some daylight photos tommorow. Handles like it's on rails!! lol The swampers are a *little* worn. Thanks Kyle, I'm all grins tonight.
  11. Make sure and bring back some ej dual ranges from AU.
  12. Been a while since I beat ya to something. (And thanks to Ken for the wheels. Appreciated Bro.) Yeeheehee!!
  13. Where you gonna go where there's no cell phones or internet?
  14. We're leaning towards Hood River, sometime in August probably. Plenty of reasons why. As for Eastern WA? No. Yes indeed.
  15. USMB's been good to me. The list below is all people I've met (that I can think of off hand). With the exception of 8 names, I've met them all more than once. Chances are I've camped out at more than one WCSS with most of them. Several I see or talk to on the phone on a regular basis. Pretty cool stuff. 16. Nice looking wagon. When are we gonna lift it? :evil
  17. I highly recommend a stop at Mick's. But I don't think you get the "Iowa Meal" till your second or third visit. If you stop in Seattle on your way, I ain't lettin ya leave.
  18. She's helped me out too. Use the feedback forum.
  19. I do not. But I've been thinking about it. For the meantime, I've got my trusty little floor jack and several pieces of 2X6 and 4X4. So when are you gonna come out with us wheeling, btw? Walker Valley in January? ***note to self: Bonco II I learned to drive a clutch in one of the first ones in the early 80s.
  20. Ken runs 31 inch swampers. Scott is running 33 inch swampers. Mudrat ran 32 inch mudders. LumpyCam ran 30s and 31s. The bigger you get the skinnier your axles begin to look. With the exception of Ken, he has a solid rear.
  21. I'll be along in my Toy. Room for tents for the night? If you don't mind digging yourself out while the rest of us are off wheeling. Lift, mudders, rear locker at least. Pretty rough trails. The last time we went up there, it kicked the crap out of the Hatch Patrol. I think every last one of us broke stuff. The two stock ones that came only pissed us off. We had to push and pull and dig them out the whole time.
  22. Dude. You're in denial. You drive a bronco. This thread has to do with what to bring with your S U B A R U. But while you're here. Have you ever had to use you highlift with your bronco? And thank you Chux. It would be pretty absurd to assume I was talking about putting a highlift under your diff. Floor jack, big ones weigh 80 lbs, I've read the package on mine. I am talking aobut a small one, wrapped in a tarp it fits behind my seat. 20lbs tops. Read the whole post before you start spouting off you bran spankin newbie.
  23. Yeah, the best place in the rear of the car to lift it would be the rear diff.
