  1. It's all good, We'll go again for sure. Don't worry about that. todds on the board once told me, "Good things take time." Just make sure you take your time and go through it nice and slow, not to just through it together and cross your fingers. I think I've played that game way to many times. If you are worried that one of these trips will never happen again, don't worry there will be more, many, many more..............I hope, as long as my brat hangs in there. Jeff
  2. Is it 42ft lbs for the heads and 14ft lbs for the intake? That's what I've always done. Jeff
  3. Scott, just for the record Will and I are coming up after you get off work I might come up a bit earlier since I found an EJ22 up in your area, so I might pick that up and then run over to your place after that. Hope everything goes together nicely. What time will you get to your house at I'll try and meet you at the same time you pull up at your place!!!!!! Jeff
  4. Woody and I went down to pull a part today He got him rear brakes set up for 6 and a half bucks! He's gonna put it on tomorrow and bleed the brakes. I think after that he'll be good to go. I got my brat at my house now and Tomorrow I'll change out a few things and be all ready can't wait. Will I'll give you a call tomorrow and see what you are up to. If you want Tuesday I'm going up to Scotts place to help him get ready if you want to help I'm sure Scott would like that. I'll talk to you later about it though. Jeff

  8. I was thinking We could all meet at The old GI Joe's / Joe's, in Mount Vernon at 10:00 am on March 15th. That is located at Exit 227 take a right on riverside drive and the First right past Dennys there is a big parking lot there behind dennys and the 76 station. It looks Like there will be 3 lifted Brats there.....So chances are you won't miss that:grin: . Once we all meet there we can head straight up College Way right up to HWY 9 and up to Walker. Jeff
  9. Black or white 13" steel or shinny Chrome. They could be in a shape of an Elephant and I would Put them on. Plus who else would do that. Jeff
  10. I think if he does he'll ride with someone I don't think he wants to beat the crap out of his car to bad. For tonight I have to talk that over with the boss she should be home for her lunch break pretty soon. Jeff
  11. You might PM Chris (audio file) He might have an Extra turbo. Jeff
  12. It'll be kinda like old times....oh how great they where..... Jeff
  13. Scott did you get your turbo problem all worked out yet? Do you think it will be all ready for the run? Jeff
  14. Oh the pitch stop,......I think that that would be a good Idea. Woody's Brat has to be about done now I would think he's been plinking away on it every night. Jeff
  15. Very good. I still need to put that motor mount in. My A.D.D. has been kicking in pretty bad as of lately. I keep getting Side tracked on all these other Subaru's And just havn't Done it. Anyways any time you want those parts they're all yours. Jeff
  16. I still have that one that the B-Dazler had, and I think I have that hole set up down at mom and dads place off that old black 82 Wagon we stacked on top of the brat that we set on fire. Jeez that makes me feel really trashy. Anywho you're more than welcome to what ever you need. Jeff
  17. I made a fender out of a sign on my 79 Brat way back in the day, the brat was gray with an orange sign, I wouldn't do it, the state patrol played 20 Q's with me. I ended up with one of those faulty equipment tickets. :-\ Jeff
  18. I couldn't get any of my pics up on there, maybe I was over looking everthing but I couldn't figure it out. Jeff
  19. I think the last owner of that car tried that too. It didn't work.... But having oil to go through it would have helped. Jeff
  20. Seafoam wasn't able to fix my burned up rod bearing this morning, but I still love the stuff. Jeff
  21. I like option A, the most. The GM idea is bad you and my dad can go hang out if that's the case. Jeff
  22. Ya it keeps beat with the RPM's. Here is the deal I just went to the Bavarian Autohaus in Burlington witch is just up the road from me, This is the palce where The girl I got the car from last had it worked on. I went there and gave them the name of the girl and plate number and this is what came up: "Work Performed-Completed. Engine dragging badly... pulled trans. away from the engine and hand turned..... engine getting stuck....oil pan has big dent in it oil leaks everywhere.....engine is bad....need to r&r engine. Did compression 1-140 2-180 3-165 4-165 Noise out of #1 cylinder oil..Very low Added units R&R fuel pump timing belt-found timing marks off...R&R timing belt and reset marks." Total price $588.57" The day I bought this car the Girl forgot to say Oh by the way I never checked the oil and I burned the crap out of the bottom end. So needless to say I got F-ed And I'm not to happy about it. She said that it just needed timing belts and now I need a whole motor. The sound it makes is, Loud, and Very shot sounding. anyways I figured it out. And it sucks. I should have known better than to think I was getting a real good deal.          Jeff
  23. I checked the timing belts on this thing and everything is lined up right and I got it to run...........but now it has a loud knocking noise in the rear part of the motor, like #'s 3 or 4 on the motor or the bell-housing area does anyone know what it could be. Maybe a knock Sensor???? I don't know I just hope it is not a rod or valve. Jeff
