  3. Holy Cow! ... More info Needed! I Tought that the Subaru Amadeus was the SVX Wagon, See the Post Nº 227 of This Thread for Pictures: http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?p=648229&highlight=amadeus#post648229 Here the Forester Looks just like a Rebagged Tribeca, I Saw a Local Tribeca Parked Side by Side with a Local Forester (By Local I Mean the Latin American Specs) at the Dealer, and Both Looked the Same Outside, the Main Differences were the interior and Engines Options: Forester also comes Diesel Here. Kind Regards.
  4. Could I Ask if you're Completely Sure about the Noise's Origin to be at the Differential? Any Background info about that Differential? ... did it Ran out of Oil? I'm Asking that Because the Culprit could be the C.V. Joint's Couplers, at the Differential; Specially if the Car Still Moves. Kind Regards.
  5. Thank you, Jacob. He is Coming Tomorrow Morning, so I'll Travel to pick him up at the Capital City Airport. Since I'll go to Capital City, I could visit the local Subaru Dealer and ask them for a Rebuild Kit, to fix the Front Calipers... ... once again ... ...
  6. This: is the Keyword: Subarus Screws are 1.25 Pitch, so The Nuts Won't Work unless you Change the Screw too.
  7. More info about your Ride would be Great... ...But since this is the Older Gen of Subies Section, I Kindly Suggest you to Read my This Writeup about that: http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=110546 Kind Regards.
  8. My Friend called again, the Salesman needed more Details about my "BumbleBeast" and the Parts I Needed, so my Friend gave his Cellphone to the Salesman to Talk Directly to me. Holy Weird Behaviour! ... After I Gave the Needed Details, he Just said: So, Seems like I Lost the Chance for Now...
  9. Welcome! Holy Cow! ... What a Big Difference! Usually the Same happens in my Country. Well... Reading about your Subie, it seems like it has Problems with the MAF and / Or the Sensors... Have you taken it to an EFi Technician?
  10. I Agree... is Good Idea to Test some Parts from the Junk Yard, such as the Radiator and the MAF ... I Believe that you are in Good Path now. Good Luck!
  11. it Looks Awesome! I Never Liked their Two-Tone Paint, so I Believe that Painting the Baja as you Did makes it to Look Cool! ... I Really Like it. Could I Ask which Kind of Paint did you Used and what brand of Spray Gun, at which PSi? I Paint using "Sagola" Spray Gun and my Favourite Paint is the Polyurethane Based. Kind Regards.
  12. Could I Ask, What is the Rarest Old-School Subaru Part or Option you've Seen? I Just Found on-line a Nice Hardtop Coupe for Sale in Boston, with Low Mileage and it had some sort of Protective Cover around the Distribuitor, that I've never seen Before. See, its an EA81: The Link for More info about it is This. Have you Seen other Rare Part or Option?
  13. I Haven't time to go to the Shippin' Companies Yet... But I Found this Motivational post:
  14. Not Hijackin' the Thread but about this: another USMB member came to Central America Driving and back to USA again, See:
  15. Yes, I experienced that Several times, importing car's parts, including my Brand New Weber Conversion Kit I Obtained in 2006 online, and more recently, the Rear Disc Brakes sent by a Good Friend here, in USMB. Customs Clearance was a Nightmare...
  16. Thank you for your Kind Reply... Now I Understood "Keisters" The Guy that is Searchin' for the Calipers just called by Phone again, asking my Subie's Vin Number... he said that the Salesman needed it to Search for the Proper Part on their Database. I'm Crossing Fingers now... if he could bring those calipers here, I will Avoid Taxes and Shipping Costs. Kind Regards.
  17. Dear Jacob, Very respectfully may I Ask you, what is the Meaning of the Word... ...That you Wrote? ... ...Seems like I'm Lost in Translation once again. Kind Regards.
  18. My EA82 Wagon came Runnin' from California to Honduras, New in 1985...
  19. That's Good Idea. To address a Vacuum Leak, just Spray Carb Cleaner around and see if the Idle increases / Decreases. But first I Kindly Suggest you to put the Missing fan there to Avoid dangerous Overheating. Kind Regards.
  20. Here, a More easy-to-Look View: Around all Empty area goes a Fan Cover for the Missing Fan.
  21. There, in those four Screws, a Clutch fan must be Placed. is Missing. You can grab one at a Junk Yard, along with its Cover.
  22. Pete, you can do a Simple Test to Address the Problem: if the Engine Runs Great with the Fuel pump Directly Wired to the Battery (Disconnecting the Original Wire) then is an Electric Supply issue. But if the Problem Persist, then is the Carb's Float that gets Stuck closed somehow... I Kindly Suggest you to Try these Suggestions. Kind Regards.
