  1. As Many of you already know, I Travel too often and Usually I got a Camera nearby... Last travel I saw a Nice Subaru Loyale Sedan, dark grey and its Rear Part was too High than its Front, then I Noticed something "Wrong" with it. See: Well... it is not "Wrong", Just Unusual to see a Loyale's Rear Looking just like my 1969 Mercury Comet: With a Solid Axle big Diff and Leaf Springs Sorry: I Couldn't obtain better Pics, it was Late Afternoon and I Think I Scared the Driver, 'cos after the Third pic I Take, he did run more Faster... and I Slowed down to let him go in Peace... I Wish I Could ask him more Details of the Swap, but I Think it is a Rear Diff + Springs that came from a Toyota Corolla (1983 Wagon?) Nice Swap Idea, if you Consider that Good Quality Axles are Dissapearing and Poor Quality -ussualy Chinese- Brands are taking the Market... Also FWD Axles trend to fail too Often in our Roads. What do you Think About this? Could it be a Good Idea to make a Car More Reliable / Cheap to Drive \ Easy to Maintain? Kind Regards.
  2. The Subaru`s Better Mileage Maker: Subaru R1e, the Electric Vehicle, seen in New York! ... ...I Wish I could have one...
  3. So... Did you mount your new Lights in your Subie? ... I`ll Like to see Pics!
  4. I Believe That is Because your Brat does not have a Digital Blink Control Box... Just the Analog Blinker. ... ...I Remember that...
  5. Great Idea, the Job is the way we Spend most of Our Lives, and Doing something you Like is Priceless! ... Yes, I know about Sentimental Value... I Believe that you can do a Great Job in your Subie! Good Luck!
  6. Nice Setup! ... I Like how the new Gauges sees in the Pillar...
  7. Thank you for your Kind Reply... Now I Think I Will Check my Subie`s "Knuckle"
  8. So, that`s the Part where the Axle ends, the Wheel`s Main Bearings Are, the Strut and its Spring holds it, and it Holds the Brake`s Disc plus Everything Involved, Isn`t it? "The Knucle" ... I Didn`t Knew its Name... Thanx! OK, Now I will made Plans to take it Off and inspect it Very Carefully. Thank you for your Kind Replies!
  9. Thanx for the Kind Replies! .. I just saw this Thread: http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=47237 Do you Think that Those Camber Plates can Help me to Fix the Problem?

  11. Yes I would cry for sure too, what a sadness... It Means that the Wire that Got Fire, was without any Fuse Protection...
  12. Yes, I Was about to Suggest that... Pics Please! ... That would be Nice!
  13. Yes, I Was Thinking in That, and also it can be a Muffler Still Full of Water...
  14. I Know Why... I Have Two Different Keys in one of my Subies... :-\ ...
  15. Nice Looking Finnish! ... I Like It! Just Another Question: The Handle that sees in the Roof... is Stock? ... it seems Bigger and in Different Position than the Wagon`s ones.
  16. ...Or the Gauge`s Wires, it could be a Wire Grounding... Except if the Gauge doesn`t Low even with Battery Disconnected... in that Case, Just the Gauge itself. Good Luck!
  17. I Haven`t had that Problem in my Subies, but I Fixed Same Problem in a Friend`s Ford Ranger `95 (Here Sold Rebagged as Mazda B2300) it was the Ignition Key`s Switch. That Switch was loose, not too Much, but Enough to not let the inside`s Current Bypass parts Engage Properly... it took several Hours to find that. It Might Doesn`t Apply to your Subie`s... but you Said that "shutting the car off and back on seems to fix the problem" ... and that makes me think that`s might be the Switch`s Fault. Good Luck!
  18. ...Or you can move Timing up to 22º or Around and see if by that way the Problem gets Fixed... but I Believe there`s an EGR Issue involved... Good Luck!
  19. Ha, Ha, Ha!!! Built Like a Rock! ... `cos They do Nothing... LOL! ... ... Nice Comment! Yes, GMC "Sonoma" is what I did Have in my Mind... Thanx!
  20. The Same Plattform Used on the Chevy S10, came as GMC... ¿? ...I Don`t Remember the Model`s Name, but it can Be. The Important here is the Subie: Nice Found! Thanx for Sharing!
  21. I Guess that you`re Writing About a Weber Carb Swap, isn`t it? I Suggest to see my Write Up About that: (it might be Helpful) http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=74206
  22. Ha, Ha, Ha! ... ... Ha, Ha! ... Shoes with a Snack! ... LOL! Well... I Have the EA81 Original Subaru Manual... By Mistake! ... I Ordered the EA82 one... I can "change" it if Anyone wants it... Just send me a PM
  23. To Change the Glovebox with Led is Good Idea! ... My Subies got a White High Intensity Led Bulb, and it seems to be like a White Neon House Light inside! There are "Standard" Leds, and High Intensity ones... for Single Bulb Aplication -like GloveBox- is better the High Intensity ones... I Like very Much the Looks of your Dash, and the Whole Lights settlement there, as the Satellite Radio, the Stereo, the Dash`s ... They`re Nice Looking one Side to Another. in Other Cars, the Lights settlement, doesn`t Looks Good like Yours.
