open your oil cap and your rad cap and describe what you see.is it milky?is the car smoking at all?any liquid coming out the exhaust?is there alot of pressure on the large hose going to the radiator when warm?

it might be a better idea just to leave the ea81 in there, do the 5sp d/r swap, use the weber, or do a ea81 spfi swap, and a bigger exhaust. to me, ea81`s seem to be more reliable than ea82`s. maybe add a couple high performance stickers and a loud cd player to boost the hp's a bit:lol: just my $0.02 Jon -

i cut my cap up into a spoiler for the 78 brat.looks pretty sharp if you ask me:D here are some pics.right now it is just sitting on there, gotta bolt it down and paint it.the sawsall cut that cap like butter.if you are going to do this, make sure you cut along the line of the front of the side windows, that way it has some structural integrity. -
