  1. I have wet dreams about that hatch. I want. Here is me, nevermind the cannon in my hand, its the only pic of me I think I have... -Bill
  2. the EA81 race should be 23 spline, not 22... -Bill
  3. Gotta go with the Grabber Green -Bill
  4. the most important thing to do is clean the seal and the glass, if it isnt clean it wont seal, no matter how much pressure it has applied to it. -Bill
  5. Carbed EJ swap? Thats my preference... I hate sensors and wires. Although FI is better for hills and stuff, it just has so many variables to me, if one sensor is bad the whole car runs crappy, but with a carb you can have a seriously screwed up something or other and it will still run for ya -Bill
  6. Well mine aint no NASCAR on the highway, but it gets around off road just fine, pretty good in the mud too -Bill
  7. I have a solution to his lift problem... -Bill
  8. I have plenty of offroad power running 31" Bighorns, and I have an EA81 in my rig, so that black rig has way more than enough power. Id like to see it in person actually, just so I can ask how he hasnt gotten a ticket for not having flares or mud flaps yet. Staters got me for everything they could -Bill
  9. Its been on Ebay and Craigslist several times I believe. Ive heard about it and seen pics but never actually seen it in person, looks like a cool rig -Bill
  10. sounds like you have a Turbo axle on a N/A car. Turbo axles are 25 spline, regular ones are 23 spline. Count the splines and see what you have. -Bill
  11. I wish I could afford that supercharged motor :slobber::slobber: -Bill
  12. Oh wow, i didnt know how close i was when i went out there with my Toyota, we were just driving to wherever the road stopped. Im gonna have to hit that up in the summer -Bill
  13. the 1-5 gears on the RX are a closer ratio than the standard d/r, and the final drive ratio before it goes to the diff is lower.
  14. Paint? I love the paint on that car, its the best looking WRB car i think Ive ever seen -Bill
  15. The RX d/r lo gear isnt as low as the 3.9 d/r. Ive been thinking about this too, about taking an RX case and puting 3.9 or 4.11 gears and the 3.9 low range gearset into it, so i would have the torquey RX gearset ratios, 4.11 final drive, REALLY low low range, and locking center diff. I dont know how feasable it would be to do though, could end up being an expensive failure, or an epic success! -Bill
  16. Post up some pics so we can see the wagon -Bill
  17. I just used a chrome bracket for a small block Chevy, a spacer and a 14 mm bolt to mount it to the block, then bolted it in plugged it in and called it good -Bill
  18. I kinda figured that. I was just curious... -Bill
  19. The only problem when building a high output EA81 is cost, RAM engines are not cheap in any way. Nothing designed to go in aircraft is cheap, But at least you can expect high quality. -Bill
  20. I do plan on sourcing some long travel coilovers in the future, front and rear, as the stock suspension isnt great for flex. However, flex isnt my main game with this rig, its gonna be more of a mudpit monster than a flexy trail rider. I wish i had more free time, these late nights are killin me! -Bill
  21. Ive seen those on a couple of wagons here where i live, but i dont really know much about them. They look OK depending on the look you are going for, but Im sure they do their job -Bill
  22. What is this special tool for the brakes? I never needed it, actually Ive never needed any tools at all other than the wrenches to remove the mounting bolts on the caliper when I do the brakes on the Beast, and ive had those calipers off at least 6 times, so im -Bill
