  1. If you decide not to fix it, I might be able to find it a home up here in VA.
  2. pm me an offer Shawn, I've got no use for it.
  3. I've never seen anything online about it, I do have one here in unknown condition from a car I parted many years ago if you have need of another core.
  4. Another option for the rear would be fitting ea82 body style rear shocks and springs on for a mild lift.
  5. Another quick xt6 question, how common is it for the manuals to have an lsd rear?
  6. Thats one I never knew Gary, I haven't inspected them very closely. I remember where the compressor and lines were on my 89 XT when I converted it to conventional years ago.
  7. Are we 100% sure all the AWD xt6's got air suspension. There are 2 at a junkyard near me that both have conventional suspension, one manual one auto that I've been itching to get the 5 lug stuff off of for a while.
  8. Realistically that car is worth saving, it looks to have a really good body on it, but it comes down to what you want to put into it.
  9. I'll bet money you don't have a leaking rear main seal either, most of the time it is the oil seperator plate that leaks on these things. Plenty of info here on the forum about that as well.
  10. welcome aboard... and post us up some pics, we love pics
  11. that particular size is a little more than 2 inches taller than stock tires, I assume given your username it's on a brat, so yes you'll have no trouble with the 25.5 inch tires with a 2 inch lift
  12. What year legacy do you have? The 96-99 Outback uses the same springs as the regular legacy, their height difference is entirely struts.
  13. completely agree on the hid removal, my Tacoma ran like rump roast whenever I had mine in it and when they were on, wouldn't run worth a crap at over half throttle. replaced the maf twice before one of the ebay ballasts went out and I put standards back in and all was normal again
  14. My mom's 04 outback wagon has loosened the rear lugs a few times recently, I guess I need to check them for signs of fatigue
  15. Put up some pics of the wheels, I've got a pretty nice set of outback 15's I might be interested in working something out.
  16. Nice looking car, I think I saw this one on craigslist a week or so ago but no idea what the asking price was. I'd say in the 3k neighboorhood.
  17. To be perfectly honest, an ej22 is going to be slightly easier to swap in, and probably cheaper in the process. Along with being lighter and within 10-15 hp of the same output. Not to mention the ej22 is damn near bulletproof, and newer technology to boot.
  18. Ford tempo is the other front springs. But those are for lift IIRC.
  19. personally in the ej engines um wary of any form of aftermarket thermostats at all, that's one of the main things I always stick to oem on appears I missed the memo on that particular thermostat, carry on lol
