Are you 100% Hard Core SUBARU?
The Scooby replied to WJM's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
well im not a hardcore subaru lover, i would drive the EVO, and i also love chevies along with old cars, ie muscle cars. and street rods. dont mean that i dont love subaru though, they are BADASS CARS!!! -
alrighty, thanks now i just have to wire up a fuel solnoid, make a custom gas tank, and put in the spark plug, coil, and wire it all up. then see how far i can shoot flames.
-
what do you mean make it better, fuel kill settup? is it a strait wire to the ECM in the car with no relay?? or what?
-
ya im just gonna run a relay and a switch on the coil power wire, also a fuel pump kill. also im thinking of gettin an extra wiper squirter motor and tank to spray gas into the exhaust, along with running a spark plug in the exhaust and a coil to make those pesky tailgaters back off. :madder: Shean

im going to run a thick wire so that it wont bend up under the handle so it moved with the handle, but it will be hooked to the battery so its not really the handle, but rather a wire that will shock the crap out fo the person.
-
mr. radon: please send me a diagram on how to do that, i would love to know how to do that. rallyruss: well maybe this one switch, but when im done, you wont want to try to open my door. im gettin a car alarm, it has 2 aluxary channels, one is being hooked to my windows to roll them down when i hit the pad on the key chain, the otehr arms my security system, car battery hooked to all the door handles, so all you will remember is that you touched the door handle, and you woke up on the ground. Thanks for your guys help!! Shean

ok so i could just cus the wire going form the tumbler to the starter, wire in my switch with a fuesable link inthere also and it would be OK? also does my 86 GL carbed wagon have a electric fuel pump, and if it does where does the wiring for the pump run, i want to put a switch on that also. Thanks, Shean

anyone??

ya its a push type from wal-mart for a push start. then like you say, i will have to get a relay, can someone please for the radio shack's web site and send me a link to the relay i need. thanks, or atleast the part number for radio shack.
-
dave, i was thinking of doing what you are saying, but without a relay, what is the purpose of a relay, when i did it on my other cars i just hard wired in a switch, nothing else. Thanks, Shean
-
oh and also i was wondering, does my carbed 86 GL wagon, 5sp have a electric fuel pump or mechanical, and also where is the power or ground wire for it on the car, im also runnin a kill for fuel if i can.
-
ok i had a few kill switches on my camaro, and other cars. well i am now wanting to put one on my wagons. its going to be a momentary switch that you much push to be able to get power to the starter. so it would be: ignition tumbler--------switch---------starter so it would interupt the power from the key to the starter. so that you must press in and hold the button to get the car to start. now, can someone please tell me where the ignition wire is that i am talking about, where it is easist to locate, and what color it you be on my 86 GL wagon. Thanks, Shean also pictures would be helpful. Thanks

The Scooby replied to SuperRallyRoo's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...

ok so i got the new wagon home a few days ago, and ive got one MAJOR problem, the passenger door's window is partially rolled down, it has power windows, no battery, and some of the wiring is not connected, like the stuff tot he coil and a few others. now what must i hook up so i can atleast roll up the window? i will go get some pictures to give examples of my problems. Thanks, Shean ok got pictures uploaded. thanks for any help. ^ what is positive or negitave, A or B? ^ where do these connect ro, all, A, B, and C, ^ and this last one. Again, thanks for any help.

-
or is there anything else i can do to make the car have a little more pep so its easier to hop ontot he highway? other then the simple things like new ignition, etc, etc. like different gears in the pumpkin, different auto tranny... Thanks, Shean
-
thanks, its weird, i paid $950 for my 86, the red one, and it has a worse interior and exterior, paid a darn dollar and this one is MUCH better. i just cant wait to get her on the road.
-
not too bad for a $1.00 car, plus $120 trying to get her home, well worth it in my book. pictures are about 5 minutes old. So, what do you all think of her? Shean
-
was wondering since my new wagon is auto, i dunno if i cant to change to manual, so i was wondering if a ft4wd auto tranny out of a XT would work with my 87 GL wagon? Thanks, Shean
