Resealing Oil Pump
i would go with hi-temp silicone, it never hardnes, and much easier to take off when they are replaced the next time compared to that other stuff. thanks for the heads up on the oil pan, it took me like 20 minutes to take off the alt, and mechanical fan/shrowd. now im just waiting for my girlfriend to bring me my haynes manual so i can continue. also talked with my dad and he is going to pay for anything i want done to the car for my B-day present, so im gettin new timing belts, new cam, crank, etc gaskets to seal the engine back up, plus new tires. i cant wait, he said we can go get everything this week, so i can have it done and going by saturday so i can drive it.

Resealing Oil Pump
ya tell me about it, eariler this year i left my 1978 C10 chevy truck there to come back on monday and find my vent window gone, my tach gone, my CD player gone, and my K&N settup. totally over $300, plus time and moeny for a new window. the school is so ghetto, i dont trust anyone that isnt in my class. PS do i have to take off my oil pan, i hope i dont, i dont wanna mess with that, can i just drain my oil because im thinking of also replacing the cam seals and front main seal to cure my other oil leaks. Thanks, Shean

no the lights are centered, i just didn't pay attition when i took the picture, i was off to the side. and ya i think she looks sweet, but the one problem, the front wheels had a 50 series side wal while the back has a 65 i think it was, and the 50's on front look wussy, so now im going to go buy 4 new tires, maybe 215's in the back... might just stick with 205, and keep her stock height, ill get pictures of the tires upclose later.

2.2L into 88 GL Wagon?
how long do you guys think it would take 1 maybe 2 people to put in a EJ22 and manual AWD tranny. i would rather do that then the d/r 5sp. i got a welder and stuff, also, i would need the essencials, engine/tranny, ECM, wiring harness, and what else from a EJ car. im going to do this rather then replace the motor in my wagon.

attn subarustyles
well from brads pictures it looks as if he just put the new coilovers over he stock shocks and struts. which is no problem. you just need a spring compresser to compress the spring so you can take it off, other wise your risk taking off a arm or legg when that tension is let off that spring. and i dont mind a harsh ride, my car is too soft for me, also, i had a lowered camaro, and trust me, i can handle the lowered ride. i like it.

Testing the waters....Lowering springs, uprated rear springs for 85+ Gen 3's.
I just want to say good luck, because at that price i dont think many people will be buying those, expecally when people are finding springs from older accords and such, also when you can get some nice 450lbs springs off ebay for under $100, most of them are going for $40 to $50. Good Luck, Shean

ok sounds good, saturday at 3pm everyone meet at peperdocks, then we can just find some places to chill, bench race, and get some pictures. because ive been driving around all weekend, other then fishing, lookin for offroading places around there, and havnt found crap. so how does this sound to everyone? plus by then, if im lucky, ill have my oil pump redone so i wont havea lifter tap, and maybe some tires with some tread on the rear of my car. 15" pug test fit
well what sucks is that i was told that 2 tires where toast, which was true, the belt was commin through on them, but the others i was told where good for a 40minute drive every day for work for a little while, and it ends up the are completly bald, so now i have to find some money to go get some tires, also do my oil pump since the ticking is gettin really loud then i can drive to work and school Shean

ya i cant wait to get the coilovers and ajustable perches. ill lower it about 1 inch or maybe a little lower, not too sure. but i think it looks bitchin right now how she sites, expecally from the front, with those wider tires, she looks mean.

they have 205/50's, and thats what im keeping, im not going to lift it, im lowering it. also i put them on and took some more pictures. ^ the front looks much beefier oh ya, the front has a 50 series on the front and the back has a 65.

so what do you all think, they got 205/50/15 cooper cobra GT's compared to the stock 13's with 185/70/13. cant wait to get the lugs tonight so i can mount them and get some more pictures. so what do you think? Shean

tire size
ok so i got my pugs and i want some 205/50/15's, i would run a 55 or 60 series tire but it is actually taller then the stock tire size with a 13 and 70 side wall. and with the 50 its really no difference. and anything lower then a 50 you can risk bendin your rims on a large bump.

hood lifts
it would be better to get the shocks from the trunk of a car, or a heavy hood, that way they will be stronger, and they wont wear out nearly as fast since they arent holding that much weight up. Shean

Best off-road lights?
mine are extremely bright, they are about twice or maybe 3 times as bright as my stock halogen high beams. they throw out alot of light.
