  1. well if you change your mind, i will trade ya, my engine has no oil leaks anymore, i just steam cleaned the whule enginebay/under carage, and new a new muffler. your choice... Shean

  3. diddo, but i also use pensoil because i get them for free since i also get free oil changes, and everything else like coolant system change, fluid change and in thing, rearend, tranny, etc since i work at Jiffy Lube in Redmond.

  5. well i just saw that highschool drags is this friday may 7th, gates open at 3pm. i am gonna race the radio flyer and see what i can do down the track, im guessin mid 17's. so if anyone from anywhere around the pacific northwest wanna come its $10 to watch, $25 to race all day, and remember, bring lots of gas, im gonna put in 2 octane boosters ontop of 93 octante.   6. give me $10 for my time and i can get them off for you, also mount and balance new ones on there for ya. at my auto program at school i can do all that, which is what i just did on my 15inch pug alloy's that are on my car.

  10. well my girlfriend just pointed this out a lil while ago, i have no reverse lights on my 86 GL wagon, 5sp d/r i swapped bulbs to no effect, is it the switch on the shifter/trans, or wiring?? Thanks, Shean
  11. well mine dont just chirp sometimes, they will spin, but the rest of the time the will chirp like its nothin, i just cant wait for the EJ22, EJ20G and FTAWD tranny/engine swap, then it shall be a sleeper.
  12. i had a hunch that it was yours i was gonna post and ask the day i saw it but got bussy with my car. but ya it looks like a nice rig ya got, where abouts in seattle are you located, oh and did you see a red wagon there with 2 rally lights on the front, on black steelie rims, and a CB antenna on it, if so that was my beast, i think it was in gettin timing belts redone, or the clutch put in.
  13. hey this is off topic but i got a question for ya, by chance a few days back did you have your car at Brian's Subaru in burien, because i saw a 3dr there the other day when my wagon was there.
  14. i felt the same way, but when it was clogged, and i have no money to pay for it it was the best solution until i get the rest of the parts for the full custom exhaust, 1 7/8's from heads to a 2 1/4inch pipe to a camaro LT-1 cat, then to a same size cherry bomb, then a crome tip out the back.
  15. put on my pugs, well when i drove with my 13's it seemed to pull to the right a little, nothing major, but now it will pull to the left or right, never really returning back to strait, and it gets REALLY bad above 65, it will jump back and forth, when i tried to balance it today it wouldn't sit right on the tire machine at school, no matter what i did, it seems to be off, well i think i found out what is wrong, i was sold a bent rim, so now, how do i go about getting the rim restraitened, or how do i get a cheap pug 505 15inch alloy wheel?   16. i dunno, i can hope for 90hp huh? but i mean after taking off that junk stock muffler, gutting the cats, doing a custom ram-air settup to get more air in, plus other things, oh, also i got an accel coil, i just need to get some bigger plug wires. i wanna dyno it and see what numbers are being put on the ground, eventually i want to put in a 6cyl, or EJ22G and the full time AWD tranns.
  17. nope im running my 195/70/13's at 28psi when i did it, today i swaped to my 15inch pugs and im running 195/55/15 in the front and 205/50/15 in the rear until i get new tires. but i have a custom shifter that i made, gutted emisions, custom ram-air settup, also custom exhaust, so right now its got around 90-100 hp i would hope, from the stock 82.
  18. i would port the intake, smooth the sharp areas and such, then port and polish the exhaust, you want to keep intake rough so taht it keeps up turblance so the air/fuel mixture stays constant. then smooth out the complete combustion chamber, post a picture of the chamber it self and i will edit the areas and show you where the work should be done.   19. see thats the problem, i want it to be a street queen, then get a brat for off roading, but then i cant do both because my girlfriend will need a car to drive, and she would get the wagon, and i would be with the brat, so im just gonna get a FTAWD tranny and put it in, then LSD, and with my new springs, shocks/struts, pug 15's and tires i should be good.   20. it was the 86 GL wagon, i would clarify when the tires break loose when shifting that is called spinning them, all i know is when i hit 3rd they broke loose, i have 4 people to concur that they herd then spin into second, and third.
  21. check out what i found, some nice aftermarket sway bars from ADDCO, they are 1" and 7/8" rubber or urathane bushings, i have to call for pricing though. http://www.addco.net/products/subaru.shtml Shean
  22. alright thanks for clearing that all up, so i think so i am not tenpted i will just take out the 4wd d/r shifter itself, until i get my new tires, im going to get some kumo 711's, in 205/55/15, then get some XT6 sway bars, ajustable coilover springs, and some KYB shocks/struts and i will be good for now. until i upgrade the motor to a 6cyl.
  23. i want the rear end if it is a LSD, rear disk braks if it has them, what color is the interior? i will also take the carb/intake., maybe the tranny too. Thanks, Shean
  24. well, i was driving along to work, heading to 520 to redmond, and for soem reason my car looses power, then i see the tach is at 0rpm, so i down shift and try to go, nothing, no power at all, then she just dies. so i jump out, no sholder mind you, and quickly swap the coil. try again, nothing. so i coast it backwards, against traffic under a over pass to get some shade to do my magic. so i pop off the dizzy cap and tap over then engine, its not moving so i know its timing belts. well they only have like 2k at the most on them, so i get pissed and cuss up a storm at napa for about 10 minutes until a state trooper comes by, and makes me push my car forward, back into the sun mind you, so i am farther off the side of the road. so anyways, i finally get ahold of my dad to bring new timing belts. ends up my driver tentioner's bearing locked up, cage broke, and froze, so then i had my brother, who came with my dad, stay with my car and we came home. 1 hour later i was back with new tentioner's driver/passenger, so i pop them on, timing everything, get it running, by now its like 8pm, it died at 3:45pm. i get her going and there is a nasty ticking, ends up its got no balls at all and seems to be running on only 2cyl's. so i drive 10 miles to southcenter mall, and take off the junk again, retime the driver belt and vwa-la, fixed, well the whole time at the mall a security gaurd is talking with us while im working, he leaves. i take it for a drive to make sure shes not nutered anymore, sur enough spinning them into 3rd, well i come back and pull back to my dads truck, security comes back and proceds to "write me a ticket", ends up he is just goofin with me, tells me not to do it again or he will kick me off the property. so i get home now 11:15pm, car running great, and tired as hell.   25. ok, i got a set of pug 15" alloy's with some 205/50/15's on 2, and i have another 2 tires but they are 205/55/15. this is for my 86 carbed d/r 5sp wagon. if i put the tires with the 55series sidewall on the back and the 50's up front and kept it out of 4wd will i be ok to drive for a while until i get al new 205/50/15's and my main question, if i HAVE to, i mean last resort, put it into 4wd, will it imeditly toast my tranny, or will it take a little while or would it do nothing because the small differance?
