Which Nissans used same differential?
Subaru and Nissan don't share a parent company and never did. Nissan used to own a majority share in Fuji H.I. just like GM did until recently. But to answer your question, early Z cars and early 510s used R160 rear differentials. I know there are more, but these are the only ones I know of for sure. Our differentials are an upgrade to the original Nissan ones because ours have LSDs.

Strange encounter in Bellingham
Is it a lifted hatchback? I've seen one parked near campus, but never seen it driving.

impreza now has a steel bumper :)
Austin, how many bolts are holding that push bar on? In your picture on page four it looks as if it is bolted only to the factory tie-down loops.

Bellingham-ers; know of any good carb mechanics???
Sorry, I don't have a vehicle with a carb in Bellingham so I can't help you there. You might have to bust out the yellow pages for this one.

Narrowing in on EA81T no-start problem.
Are your fuel injectors opening? If they're not operating, then your car won't run.

ea81t surge on decceleration
I would check the throttle cable for fraying. I remember that after I reinstalled my engine I also had to replace the throttle cable. If it has to make any tight bends it can wear out.

Third Eye Trouble
Heres what I have to offer picture wise: Thats all I can seem to fit in my album (Did they suddenly get smaller?). You can't see it in this picture, but the motor is right behind the bumper and operates a rod that opens the door for the 3rd eye. Check to see that the rod isn't catching on anything thru its range of motion.

EA81T, hissing noise from fuel system
That isn't the fuel filter. The filter is behind the driver's side strut tower, near the windsheild wiper motor, like Turbone mentioned. If you do end up doing that, keep me in mind for the turbo motor! A spare couldn't hurt!

ea81t coolant lines..?
Good luck, I tried finding all the turbo coolant hoses and they sent me packing at Chaplin's. I don't think there are any parts like that left. I ended up making my own hoses for the turbo lines.

ea81t 4wd coupe; how rare?
Just saw another one today in Bellingham. It was parked a few stalls away from my t wagon and was the same color to boot!

EA81-T upgrade
You're gonna need the front crossmember to clear the up pipe of the stock crossover pipe. The turbo cars also have a lower, stiffer suspension if your into a street turbo. The wiring is going to be toughest part.

ea81t 4wd coupe; how rare?
Correct me if I'm wrong, but weren't T-coupes only made in 84?
