Aluminum Pullys
What if we made a pully similar to the Worx Tuning low mass crank pully? It looks really light, and if we have a CNC mill then it would only cost a tiny bit more to add the code to make the spokes on the pully. http://worxtuning.com/newsite/DSC01191.JPG

Aluminum Pullys
Oops, thats what I ment.

Aluminum Pullys
I think since hes also using an EA81T pully that hes working on accessory pullies.

Aluminum Pullys
I'm interested in the EA81T pully! What about pullys for the alternator and PS pump? I'd love to have a full set of AL pullies.

Found the source
Oooo, that is nasty! Are you planning on repairing it or scrapping it? I'd hate so lose another brat to rust, but if its too far gone, so be it.

Another third eye install on gen 1 brat MORE PICS PG 2
- Yes, on a stock EA71, you will notice the difference - Yes, H3 I think - Yes, 82 was the last year they were produced.

Skid plate for your GC impreza?
Zefy, if what I understand from Zap's post is true, then the skid plate hes using is a factory peice and looks an awful lot like an EA81 or EA71 skid plate. Imagine what that would look like under a Imp. Not a lot of protection for the exhaust system, but at least the oil pan gets a break!

84 t-coupe wiring dilemma
Both black/whites and the black wire go to the positive side of the coil, everything else goes to the negative terminal.

Just an update on the hatch
Wow, looks great! What components have you used? Looks like a beefy version of my white hatch.

How much money and effort would you put in to your car? 5 grand?
I think of my car as $29,750 on a new STi, so that lets me throw as much money at it as is necessary to meet my goals.

84 t-coupe wiring dilemma
Hmmm, with both my turbo specific manuals an hour and a half away from school, I won't be able to help you for a while. Next weekend I can help you though.

84 t-coupe wiring dilemma
Are these five little wires near the coil? I assume if they are that they go to the positive and negative poles on the coil. I don't have my manuals with me, but the answer would be in there for sure.

to those looking for shocks
I notice that a lot of members have been receiving responses from KYB saying that they will not carry performance struts for our cars. I however did not get a response. I asked them to build performance 2WD struts, which would not have the adjustable spring pearch. These struts would also lower our cars (as opposed to 4WD struts). Maybe if we petition them to build those, we can get somewhere instead of them saying they just can't do it. Just a thought, but let me know what you think.

Sway Bar Q's
Yes, there are! You will need to mount the brackets for them (Either weld them on or install a set of control arms that already have them). Any EA82T or XT6 will have bars that will be upgrades front and rear. Do a search for a spring chart and you can see which car has the most desierable set.

Turbo Woes.
The turbo from an EA82 will be a slight upgrade with the added benefit of already having a water cooled center section and a tiny bump in efficency.

'84 turbo coupe with a weird tranny issue
Thats how mine went out. I swapped in a 5 speed dr tranny and couldn't be happier! This car is pretty quick with a proper transmission.
-
did the rear disc brake swap on my 86 wgn..
Just finished the swap on my wagon. Holy cow, is this what modern brakes feel like?!? The new brakes are WAY better than drums, I highly suggest doing this conversion!
-
quiz gear ratio.
Isn't that the ratio of an EA71 4WD rear diff? IIRC the front and rear ratios were different.
-
top speed of rx ?
In my EA81T wagon I got up to 105mph on a flat with stock everything except the tranny.

New stainless turbo header
Check ebay stores, thats where I picked up mine. I'll find the name of the store I ordered my stuff from and post it up here later.

New stainless turbo header
I bought the tubing pre-bent off an ebay store and had it shipped to Oregon for assembly.

EA-81T fuel cut?
I'd say the same thing! Granted, I still haven't messed with my car much, but I've never hit anything like a fuel cut. But thats all about to change!!!
