The legacy turbo will allow more power with less boost. The EA82T turbos are junk. The parts you mentioned will work, but will not bolt up to the existing parts so flanges will need to be fabbed up too.

Gauges that I would use would be: Mech Boost/Vac duh, not from factory EGT Duh, expensive but VERY IMPORTANT Water temp dont trust factory oil temp Interested in efficency of factory cooler oil press Important for turbo cars A/F ratio important for tuning

Dls have quad headlights like the EA81 GL cars. the EA82 GLs have combo lights. GLs have tachs, and more insturmentation than DLs. GLs have wider tires and plush interiors. DLs do not. Thats all I know for sure, but I am positive that there are more differences.

Z32 300ZXTTs had 4ws. They had a hydrolic system. Lost of manufacturers in the 80s and early 90s played around with 4ws, some active (Like the Nissan and Mitsus) while many were passive (ie, the rear suspension geometry had toe out under certain conditions and points during its travel.

Thats what I was thinking of offering, but I just wanted to check in with you guys. Any other Ideas? What other problems should I look for on these old cars? What usually breaks/wears out on them?

A 79 DL 4wd wagon with some rust repair, most rust not fixed. Not much in the way of cancer, but enough rust to take a second look at. Missing cowl and mismatched panels. The tranny is locked, so it needs to be replaced, I have a spare tranny so thats not a problem. The car has 133K or 233K, can't be sure, but it looks like the higher number. I'll try to get pics up soon, but so far, what is a good price? The owners left the car in a parking lot because of the tranny and left a note on the dash stating that they were trying to get a tow dolly. I left my number and they called me, so things seem to be swinging in my favor.

I think if the sixth digit in the vin or something like that is a 6 then it is an RX, but if its a 5 then its a fully loaded GL. It also wouldn't be SPFI, as far as I know all RX's are MPFI. Noting that, I don't think it is an RX.
