It used to belong to Superrallyroo and before that Hatch4X4 (Or something like that). Needs a fair amount of work to get it the way I want it. More pics to come! On a side note, I really like the old album better than the new one (Much easier to figure out the old one) so I hope the new one is scraped!!!

I just did a hitachi modification...
Dan just doesn't have the calibrated butt that I do. I drove it and I could tell the difference. Up to a point you don't feel anything, but after a point, you can feel and hear the difference in power. The downside is that when you get to the secondary, the pedal sticks and you have to push past the stickiness to get to the power. Does that make sense?

Subaruparts.com As long as you have a part number and the part isn't obviously out of manufacture, then they can get it to you. They are also a local subaru dealer, Tacoma I think.

EA81 Digital Clock/ No Memory/ Found somethin under dash REVISED 7/11/04
Maybe part of the electrical system that feeds the clock when the car is turned off is broken. I would check a diagram for grounds and especially power and how it gets to the clock when the car is shut off.

How to tell an 80 from an 81
I've stumbled across an early EA81 4WD wagon. I know its an 80 or an 81, but since I don't have the VIN in front of me, I can't decode it. What are some things I can look for to tell the difference between the two years?

How to remove brat side steps
I know that one side si removed by 4 screws (passenger's side I think. the one with the step), but the other (Driver's side?) doesn't have the same screws. I want to put the step on both sides of a brat. This is on an 82 if that makes any difference.

Thats why Ram heads are about half as much as SUB4 heads. They are way easier to make!

cheap parts
Life time warrenty parts are cheaper because they are lesser quality than 3 month warrenty parts. The companys hope that most people will buy the cheaper, longer warrenty parts so they make those parts crappier so they can afford to replace those parts when they are returned.

RAM Performance (140hp N/A EA81)
I've heard of them. My only concern besides price would be that aircraft engines only need power at a constasnt rpm, so they don't necesisarily need the low rpm grunt that cars do. Just some food for thought!
