the fuel pump can get bound up if the car sits for a while, ive acquired many Subaru's that way, buy it cheap, than smack the fuel pump, than its starts pumping, and you drive it away. and piss off the previous owner

wheel bearings are a P I A , although some auto parts stores like car quest, will press them in for you.. at auto zone you can rent for free a big c clamp ball joint tool, but you need an air compressor and an impact wrench..

you can clean them , also it could be a temp sensor, there are two of them one is for the Gage and the other for the engine computer. there are also junkyards you could go to, Ive never had one go bad.. check everything else first.

Are the ea81 engines getting hard to find, im looking at a 1978 brat, nice shape but the engine is kinda rough, i saw a rebuilt long block on ebay. 1650 bucks.. yikes, more then twice the price of the brat... what about a ea82 up grade or is that an up grade ? downgrade?

in Michigan we can go to the state police and have them fill out a form verifying the Vin, than go to the dmv and fill out an affidavit, stating we own the vehicle. if there are no liens they issue a title, as long as it hasn't been stolen
