100% agreed.- My '95 Legacy: Trashwagon10
Yes, the one pictured is like $150 from an 80s 4-Runner. Crazy.- What Have You Done to your Soobie lately? (Please post in here and keep it going)
Is that felt wrapped? Glare reduction, like a rally car!- What Have You Done to your Soobie lately? (Please post in here and keep it going)
Couldn't take the insipid ratting of my cup holder in the Legacy, so I ripped it out and threw it out the window onto the highway. No more ratting, problem solved.- My '95 Legacy: Trashwagon10
Inclinometer anyone? Thats what is next for TW10. Went to the local junkyard in search of one from a Montero with little luck. Looking at something like this,- New Stant "Xactstat" OEM thermostat available at parts stores!
Worth knowing! Sticky this!- What Have You Done to your Soobie lately? (Please post in here and keep it going)
Outback headlights on a Legacy, "SAY WHAT!?" Yes, its true...- My '95 Legacy: Trashwagon10
'98 outback headlights in. Need to wongleflute with them a little, but should be good to go.- My '95 Legacy: Trashwagon10
Yes, the header hangs down to low (Wraps in front of the oil pan) and the skid plate will not be used. Also, you will need to run the small genuine filters, because the pipe is to close to the filter.- My '95 Legacy: Trashwagon10
Yeah, its a direct fit and will bolt straight up to the first cat.- The Awesome Older Generation Picture Thread
Did not know that, thanks for the clear up!- My '92 Landcruiser: Safariwagon-II
Once I get the suspension kit, I will have access to a vehicle lift and wood burning stove (Thanks to Jboy) which will make this install that much easier and I won't have to freeze. I think this will be the biggest Land Cruiser in Waukesha CO. Interesting fact, Toyota only imported 15,000 Land Cruisers with the 3F-E 4.0 Straight-6 and A440 trans into the U.S before the 1994 debut of the 1FZF-E 4.5 Twin Cam Straight-6 with the A442 trans (aka Bus Transmission) so this here '92 is something to be had.- My '92 Landcruiser: Safariwagon-II
New Genuine fuel filter straight from Lafayette, IN Toyota. The filter which was in there was a Wix, and was loose and installed the wrong way. New filter, high gloss thick power coat black with new bracket, shouldn't rust a while. One thing I like about the Toyota Vs. Subaru is, the fuel lines attach to the filter with two Banjo bolts (Like a Brake Caliper) Over engineered to say the least.- My '92 Landcruiser: Safariwagon-II
Oh, christ. I'm not all there atm. Bumpases! *Christmas Story*- My '92 Landcruiser: Safariwagon-II
I'm lost?- My '92 Landcruiser: Safariwagon-II
Now have JDM white/clear corner lights with orange HP LEDs from superbrightleds.com, and aftermarket clear turn signals. Looks pretty nice I think. Looking at getting an OME 3" lift kit from either Slee or some other supplier (Looking at close to $1,000 for the kit) My truck leans to the left a little, probably a weak spring which the 80s are notorious for, being such heavy beasts. Lovin' that!- My '95 Legacy: Trashwagon10
Little more low end torque, and a nice sound.- My 1993 Loyale: Work In Progress
- Need Advice About My Subaru Legacy
TheLoyale replied to SamEllis's topic in 1990 to Present Legacy, Impreza, Outback, Forester, Baja, WRX&WrxSTI, SVXYes, agreed. It is hard to find late models in the junkyards around here as well. I have bought from car-part.com before, good site.- Small dent removal
Rob, I like that idea. Its a lot easier to come by as well. At work, I have cans of Gum Remover which get as cold as -230 Deg F. I should snag a few for "Personal Use" - What Have You Done to your Soobie lately? (Please post in here and keep it going)
