Glad to see them on! How did the spacer work out for ya?

Re-bound has NOTHING to do with ride higth. It controlls how fast the valving in the shock lets it expand(get longer) so more rebound will let the car come up from a bump faster less rebound will let it come up slower;)

I'm thinking of somthing along the same lines, but I have NO CLUE how the shifter would be made to work:rolleyes:

Shipping a Subaru - What do you think?
soobme replied to clantieri's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
Go to google and do a serch on car transporting, I got a quote once to ship an EA81 wagon from MO to OR for $435. I don't remember the CO. but that was door to door, and it was only 5-4 mo. ago. Other than that, U might talk to a large car lot chain with lots in each place and see if there is any chance they would ship it for ya for less. (I did that once with Lithia) -
Yeah, if this is gona be your driver I would go with an LSD. That will help on ice, snow, and every thing. It will not be an off-road hero with it, but it will be better than the open dif. It (LSD) will keep 2 tires turnig in the back untill 1 comes off the ground, and not both @ the same speed all the time like a welded dif.
-
It is a bit of a fight to drive it on ice after welding the rear, the car will push real bad. On mine I just shift it back into 2WD when cornering, that helps ALOT. Or if U know that U are gona be driving on ice ahead of time just pull 1 axle in the rear 1st and then U can leave it in 4WD and have NO PROBLEMS! WELD IT! WELD IT! WELD IT! WELD IT!

Mine changes it's oun oil, I just have to add a QT. a week to keep it happy:D

Are you a Driver or just luggage?
soobme replied to QuickRX's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
No classes, but LOTS of exp. in some of the WORST driving conditions U can think of. Snow, snow & ice, floods, lots of granit roads @ high speeds, mud, rocks, Fressno CA @ rush hour:-p , lots of twisty narrow roads w/ bad assfault. I have seen it all, and it's made me a much better driver. I would LOVE to take a corse in rally driving, but allas, no $$ for that:rolleyes: Driving on good roads, with good conditions is the eazy part. It's handelling all the other stuff that makes it a challeng, and I love it! -
how do you define an addiction?
