  1. If I find a way to get 'em I'll be sure to let U know how/what I got.

    toy diff?

I hear ya man!!! I'm still kickin' around the idea of a strait axle out back and the stock trans/diff. up front for the new car.
  3. By "make them fit" I'm gessing that these are not made for the EA82 5spd D/R. What ARE they for, and how do U know U can make them work? Still no responce over @ Auzbaru (AKA: BYB) so I'm still DESPERATLY seeking info on this.
  4. Don't bother with shiping up the bits, I have no problem taking your'e word on what hapend with it. PM me with the details on what it's for agan and I will get ya a quote on powdercoating ya a new one. We can hamer out the details, but I will NOT charge U for the rack it's self again. Just the new extras;)

    toy diff?

I have thought about useing a rear Toyota 3rd member and making my oun housing/mount (all 1 pice) and then just haveing stub axles cut for it.
  6. I can do that. I got nothing to hide:) I'm sure this is about "THE roof rack" I was about a week behind @ the time, and I started getting phone calls from the guy by day 2. I told him what was up, and then got the rack out to him. Sent an e-mail with tracking# ect. Didn't hear from him for about 6 weeks, then I get an e-mail saying he never got it. So I got ahold of UPS, they say he DID get it and show me a signiture. I e-mail him back to find out what's up, no reply. I find out that he has been here bad mouthing me the whole time (I had a VERY slow conection @ the time so I wasen't on the board @ all) So that's how all that went down from my end. I'm not to sure what hapend @ his end, but I don't know what to do about either. PS: If anyone here has 1st hand info. on what hapend @ his end of the deal I'm still willing to try and make good on this(if the fault IS on my end)
  7. The 5spd conversion isn't to hard, it's all a bolt in/on. Puting the pedal box in is the hardest part. It all goes in like it's meant to be there.
  8. He is not looking to pump the air from the air sys. into the engine as a boost, so 8cfm@100psi WILL work just fine. He wants to use an air jet to help SPIN the turbo;) I think it's an interesting idea.
  9. I don't do exaust at all anymore;) $$$$$$ list: EA81 & EA82: Bumpers start @ $125 for single tube W/recever and 2 shackle tabs. Brush guard/bumper combos start @ $175 Roof racks start @ $140 with infinite options on those. I offer powder coating, any color, price is on a per order basis.
  10. I can turn U on to a 12V compressor that makes about 8cfm@100psi right off the compressor:brow: It cost about $150 to build, but oh man, the air!!
  11. Sorry, but this is all I could see of that post! 4.44 gears for a 5 speed dual range:banana: If they exsits I MUST find a way to get some!
  12. I think that I'm going to stick with the Subaru parts, and drop all the other stuff I have been working on. Why? Because Subaru owners, as a whole have been better to work with than ANYONE!!! U guys all need stuf made, U are all nice, and there is not to much suport of the older Subes out there!
  13. For all those wondering if I'm still in biz., I am. I still make bumpers, roof racks, ect. I never stoped, I just wasen't here on the board for a while and I gess no one had any contact info for TWB Fabrications:rolleyes: "My web site" in my sig. is the biz. web site. The web site has not been updated in a while, but I hope to have a new one arond the hollidays (I'm a cofuser dummy, but my bro. in law is gona help me build a new one) I make ALOT more stuff, and styles than are on there now. (I have a TUBE BENDER now:brow: )
  14. I have one, and I LOVE it! The best deal going on a winch IMO. And for an extra $35 U can get a LIFE TIME WARRENTY!!!!!!!! The guy told me that it even coverd the cable:grin: I have used this winch on my 6800# Suberban, my old 4200# Ford F150, and will be using it on my EA82 wag. as well. It comes with a mounting plate that U can cut down and weld a recever insert onto and then it's a multi-mount;) ( that's what I did)
  15. 4.11's would be FINE, just fine. Matt- Well.... If that price is for front & rear, then I'm thinking around $550 for a front R&P set. I could swing it in the not so distant future:brow: and convert to an R180 out back with 4.11's in it. BUT....if that price is for just the front:eek::eek: I'll have to keep serching for a cheeper way to do it. I want to put one of the Phantom Grip LSD's and 4.11's up front, and an R180 with solid stubs, welded diff. and 4.11's in the rear. That's the ideal set up IMO for what I want to do with the car.
  16. Is that for front & rear? Or just for the front? Any one know what the US$-to-CDN$ rate is?
  17. Has any one figured out a way to put 4.11's or 4.44's into a 5spd D/R tranny yet? I need to break more stubs!
  18. If U use cotter pins insted of roll pins the cotter pin will go through if it's 180* off or not;) That's all I have EVER used on my joints, and have NEVER had a problem with 'em:) (the cotter pins that is:-p )
  19. I have read about this method before, hows it hold up? I would think the 1st time U hit that welded spot with any power it would just snap of teeth from the pin gear:eek: U say U have done this to a 10B in a Chevy, did U do it that way? Is it still intact? Not trying to dis your'e method here, honestly looking for 1st hand info on this:burnout:
  20. Weld the side gears to the diff. weld the pin gears to the diff., weld the side and pin gears to each other. U can use this in a DD, but I would recomend pulling 1 axle when on the street and put it back in when on the dirt.
  21. It's good to see the wagon again. And it's good to see the brush guard is still holding up;)
  22. '83 wagon, 4/3 BYB lift, some body trimin', on board air, on board welder (ready welder II:banana: ), 8000# winch, will have welded rear and dual batt. by next week:D Come on up buddy!!
  23. If U just hear 1 clicking, but don't know whitch 1 it is check the temp of each one. Hottest usualy=bad one. PS: ask me how I know, that's a thrashed CV/half thaft I'm holding up in my avitar:rolleyes:
  24. It's not a headgasket! Hey....U said...."please tell me.......":-p But really, it might not be a head gasket. Do the bubble test, and check the oil for watter.
  25. Might RL@3600RPM, but I bet they make GOOD power all the way there. With a 5spd, and 3.70's insted of 3.90's it should work great. But I'm not sure if U can get 3.70 gears in a 5spd Man. trans. Running big tires would help too. 27's @ least, 28's or 30's would work even better. U would still have all the TQ U need on the bottoum
