  1. I have a set of the round STD headlights that came with a conversion kit from Monstaru. They seem to work great, they are much brighter than stock that's for sure, and they aren't sealed beam so you can change the actual bulb
  2. I read my computer on my 2000 RS and got these codes back. P1100 which is MAF intermediate, and P1445 which is Diagnostic Module Tank Leakage, Pump Control Circuit Signal Low. Can someone tell me what the heck these mean? I have no clue and have never heard of the second one. Thanks!
  3. Awesome!! My Brat had shaved heads like that before I bought it, it had somewhere around 120 horse just from that!!! I wanted to do it but I just haven't. I bet there is a big difference. Nice job!! I want some more pics of your Brat!!
  4. http://www.numbchuxconversions.com/
  5. Ahhh, so you're the one that got that from Zap. Nice!!! Can't wait to hear how it goes once it's in the car!!
  6. Like the other person said, have you alt rebuilt, it will cost a lot less, I had mine rebuilt for about 40 bucks.
  7. I thought all 2.o were turbo and came in WRX's. I knew they came in cars in other country's but I thought in the U.S. they were all turbos
  8. Sweet! You da man! I completely understand you got other stuff first, lemme know! Thanks
  9. Yeah I know that's the tricky part. But the EA82 motor that's in my new sedan smokes bad, and I have a spare EA81 that runs great and would pretty much drop in without much being done to it. So if I had a bracket that I could just slap on that would allow me to bolt up the EA82 power steering pump and have SPFI, that would be awesome!! So let me know and PM me about a price, maybe we can work something out with those couple parts you want as well!! Thanks!! Oh, and Bill, I know you're busy, but I could use this ASAP.
  10. And I would actually need it to fit the EA81 with fuel injection!! If that's possible for you to fab something like that up, please let me know!!
  11. So Bill, is that something you could make me and sell?!?!?!
  12. Look for this in both the retrofitting section(for the motor swap) and the off road section for the rest. The search function is great here also! Good luck
  13. Yeah, I wanna know if it's possible to get the EA82 power steering pump to bolt onto the EA81. Thanks for the bump!
  14. This will though http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/FENDER-subaru-BRAT-82-primed-truck-auto-part-NEW-RH_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQ_trksidZp3286Q2em20Q2el1116QQhashZitem250415028725QQitemZ250415028725QQptZMotorsQ5fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories
  15. I agree with the post above, and, I want pics of this car when you get it!!
  16. Man that thing is awesome!! Great find. And even better price! Sounds like you lucked out on that one!! I'm jealous again
  17. They don't have to be tied together it just adds some extra strength. As for the bolts, I found a store near me called Fastenal. I'm sure there are locations other places too. But they had all sizes in all grades in all lengths! I got some 7 1/2" grade 8 metric thread bolts that were somewhere around 1/2". So they are out there. Good luck!!
  18. That thing looks awesome! I still can't wait to see it finished. On a side note, you look a little like Nicholas Cage.
  19. Oh so your using a different model Subaru spring? That/s cool! Can't wait for pics!! And a list of what you exactly used
  20. I bought a set of brand new Subaru rear springs for one of my old Loyales and they worked great. Good luck with it!
  21. Those look pretty cool. How snug are the struts in those holes? hopefully pretty snug. How hard were they to make?
  22. The flat side should face the bearings, and yes, if the bearing was pressed in by the inner race, then it could damage the bearing, it should be pressed in using the outside lip of the bearing
  23. I know I do, BUT, it's so bad in Maine that it doesn't matter! Yes it slows it down but rust always wins over time:-\
