2009 impreza outback sport low tire pressure
bratman18 replied to Rice Burner's topic in 1990 to Present Legacy, Impreza, Outback, Forester, Baja, WRX&WrxSTI, SVXIf you like the boxer rumble, you can make it sound a little better with a nice cat back exhaust. I love the way mine sounds!!

Best Deal You Ever Got On A Subaru?
bratman18 replied to roadsubiedog's topic in 1990 to Present Legacy, Impreza, Outback, Forester, Baja, WRX&WrxSTI, SVXI paid $190 bucks for an 89 EA82 touring wagon. It was mint other than very loud knocking in the motor. I was still able to drive it home 1 hour and 30 minutes and put a new motor in it!! I still kick myself for ever selling it!!:-\

Help! Rust ate my Fuel Filler Neck!
bratman18 replied to marcia1723's topic in 1990 to Present Legacy, Impreza, Outback, Forester, Baja, WRX&WrxSTI, SVXYou can easily replace just the fuel filler. Remove screws from behind gas door, and remove screws in wheel well behind rear tire, and then remove the filler tube from rubber hose that connects to gas tank. You can get them new for a little over $100 bucks. And is somewhat easy to install, it will take some time, but well worth it

broke timing belt on 99 Forester HELP !!
bratman18 replied to jimrichard's topic in 1990 to Present Legacy, Impreza, Outback, Forester, Baja, WRX&WrxSTI, SVXAre you sure the valves are ok? This is an interference motor. There is a very good chance that the pistons and valves collided when the timing belt broke

Why does this cost so much?
bratman18 replied to mikec03's topic in 1990 to Present Legacy, Impreza, Outback, Forester, Baja, WRX&WrxSTI, SVXYeah sometimes it can be a pain in the rump roast, but even my step dad who has no auto experience at all, replaced his in about 30 minutes and we are in the rust belt. It's not all that bad. The worst part is getting gas on you:-\

SVX pics before and after, claybar, wax, decals applied, and stock wheels put back on
bratman18 replied to bheinen74's topic in 1990 to Present Legacy, Impreza, Outback, Forester, Baja, WRX&WrxSTI, SVXLooks really nice. I like that color. Is it a factory color? I haven't seen one that color before. I see two of these everyday on my way to work and back. Cool cars and I would also like to get the chance to take a ride in one!!
