  1. I have a badlandz electric cutout on another vehicle I have and love it but its kinda pricey. I want a cutout for my EA-82 wagon and im stuck between this: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Exhaust-Cutout-Cast-Iron_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQ_trkparmsZ66Q3a2Q7c65Q3a16Q7c39Q3a1Q7c240Q3a1318QQ_trksidZp3286Q2ec0Q2em14QQhashZitem280310060380QQitemZ280310060380QQptZMotorsQ5fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories#ebayphotohosting and an electric one. Obviously electric is better, but look at the price:-\ Should I give it a try? Would halfway to the muffler be an ok spot? Currently has a full 2" exhaust with no cat. or res. just has a cherry bomb glasspack at the end
  2. Well then how hard/expensive would a 5 lug switch be?
  3. My EA-82 wagon has a new master cyl., resealed calipers and lifetime warranty pads. Would it be worth it to pick up some fleebay drilled or vented rotors to improve my braking or better off doing a rear disc swap? How much would it cost to get all the needed parts for this shipped to me?
  4. Just fine lol I live in Puerto Ricoooo so my hood and roof get pretty hot
  5. Try these few little things: Sea foam into a vacuum line, use carb cleaner for the throttle body, remove and clean all fusible links and contacts with wd-40, disconnect the Throttle Position Sensor or TPS and give the male end of the plug a thorough cleaning with WD-40 and a small screwdriver. BE GENTLE. Try those FREE things out lol helped loads on mine
  6. Popped the Fusible link cover and removed all of them. They were all covered in green crap lol. WD-40 and a little screw driver to remove the gunk and some new fusible links solved all the problems with surging RPM and not starting. Thanks all
  7. You could probably Herculine your car 10 times over and stil; have it be cheaper than Rhino lol:banana:
  8. I have used herculiner with great results. Did a truck interior and my Wagons roof and hood with the stuff. Good prep and will last forever Work fast as it dries quickly, use gloves or you will become a sponsor for it for at least 2 weeks.
  9. Maybe and exhaust cutout could give you some more top end ponies? How much are you gonna sell it to me for?
  10. Ok so replace the Fusible link and then what? What do I look at then?
  11. DING DING I think we have a winner One of the fusible links is almost dead I think. My car wouldnt start in fact it wouldnt do anything at first and my mechanic told me to jiggle one of the fusible links. So replace that link and check for vacuum leaks?
  12. Turned on my EA-82 wagon and the rpms shot to around 3k, I let off the gas and it would go to idle and shoot back up on its own lol. After it warmed up it went back to normal, however my voltage stayed realy high something like 16v WTH?
  13. Umm lol the leak vanished... why would that happen? Drove about 100 milea and didnt lose a single drop of coolant :-\
  14. Check if the high beams work plz Maybe they just burned out X2 on th fusible link on the coolant overflow tank
  15. Finished the install of my goodies. Used close to 4qt of oil and a bottle of MMO. Replaced fuel filter which was a little dirty but no rust. Air filter was horrifyingly dirty, good thing I picked one up. While I was in I noticed the corner of my radiator has a leak  close to the faucet. Any radiator from another vehicle that I can drop in? Mine is badly rotted and a 6" long section of fins is totally gone lol. I can see my oil filter through my radiator Remember guys my location prevents me from just buying a new Subaru one :-\ suggestions please.
  16. Found a local gas station that will wash and oil the bottom of my car for $30, ok price?
  17. Its miiiiineeeeeee jaja :banana::banana: :banana::banana::banana:  pics to come soon:grin:
  18. Well to start off the 15w-50 was out of mu budget at least for now :-\ but gotta love autozone here is what I bought: 5 quarts 10W-40, STP oil filter, STP air filter, metal canister fuel filter (plastic under the hood makes me nervous), oil filter wrench, 1 bottle MMO, bottle of Rain-X, 1 set of detailing towels all for around $36
  19. Bare with me guys I tried searching but it said the word engine and oil were too common lol. Anyways need engine oil suggestions. I have been using 10W-30 in my EA-82. It has no oil leaks and around 84k on the odo. Should I stick with that oil or...? any suggestions please, I will also be adding MMO to it. The car will never see any temperature below 60F. The original owner also replace the fuel filter about 20k miles ago, should I get me a new one?
