  1. USN Camo or I always wanted to paint my truck this color in semi gloss (about 40% gloss) Audi Aviator gray Ben
  2. it sounds like your coil is staying energized, check for 12v at the coil when the key is off/on and see if it changes.
  3. welcome back!! I finally got that d/r trans I bought from you installed in my wagon, it's working great!
  4. could the "wing" be this piece?
  5. yeah, you can buy them from Waytek Wire, they are called Carling Contura Rocker Switches. Link the only thing about that sit is you have to order certain volumes and have a minimum order. other than that they are great to deal with. Ben
  6. great videos! I saw a DemonRally sighting in video #2:headbang:
  7. I would need to see pics to be certain but you can buy a harness that will plug into the radio that is just like the one in the car look for Metra part# 71-1858 http://www.metraonline.com/part/71-1858 it is the standard GM 21 pin plug, it was used from 1988 to 2005, you might even be able to get one from a junk yard for a couple bucks. you will also want a gm antenna plug adapter and antenna if you are planning on listening to AM radio, or you can stick a wire in the antenna and get fm. or if you want to solder connections on at the radio... these are the same as the saturn radio connections. http://www.andylphoto.com/fiero/wiring.html
  8. good point, I just don't seem to have a lot of extra time these days... maybe if you don't mind snapping some pics and taking a few measurements when you remove it? there are somethings I would do differently if I built one myself. but I figured I could deal with it for a little while... but knowing me I would probably cut it up and make it the way I wanted and completely waste all that $$$ for shipping.
  9. I believe that it can be fastened to the stock cross bars, but I will be using a yakima rack that mounts to the rain gutter.
  10. So I guess I'll stay tuned to this thread to see what happens with the bumper... thanks Ben
  11. if you have a non turbo 23 spline the part number is 80-5504 turbo 25 spline part number is 80-5505 \ hope that helps Ben
  12. I ordered my EMPI axles from RockAuto.com $60 each.
  13. if that falls through, I'm in.. seriously.
  14. I think it will be able to hold a spare for a 205/55-16 although it wouldn't be a permanent place for the spare, just to get it out of the cargo area for a trip.
  15. I'll trade you straight up for my stock one...:-p
  16. is this the one with that really cool front bumper? Ben
  17. has anyone had any experience with these? pics of them installed on a wagon? I believe that Rhino is an Australian company but I could be mistaken. not a bad price on Amazon $160 with free shipping. thinking about putting one on my 91 Loyale. using it primarily for camping and hauling around a spare tire maybe... I really like the Yakima Load Warrior but I do not want to spend $350 for the rack and locks...
  18. I will be watching this for an outcome. I have an xt6 sway bar I am putting on my wagon soon. worn out sway bar bushings maybe? Ben
  19. they come up every once in a while. just keep a look out, seems like there are less for sale during winter time. I don't think your price is out of line but you might expect to have some minor problems with the car. I picked up my loyale for $200 it ran but needed work.
  20. I will keep an eye out. Haven't seen many around here that nice. Hopefully he recovers it.
  21. I second this, I have a wash mitt that is dedicated for this and wheel wells usually an old wheel wash mitt. I must be ocd or something... three wash mitts. I only do a pressure wash/steam clean if I am pulling the engine. my.02 Ben
  22. Nice pieces, I definitely appreciate a part that can be installed and then taken off without leaving evidence(i.e. holes, rub marks...) in the rally world a good skid plate can save your day and possibly season. Good luck with your new business! keep up the quality work and you will go a long way.
  23. But the turbo 3at is a 3.7 right?
  24. the 3AT I had in my 91 had a 3.9 diff. I believe the 3EAT was a turbo tranny
  25. swapping a 3at to a 5mt is fairly simple. I swapped to a 5mt dual range You need, if you plan on using a ea82 manual trans: ea82 five speed transmission, I picked the d/r so I didn't have to deal with the push button manual switches and solenoids. ea82 mt drive line(or at least just the front half for a manual tranny) ea82 transmission mount ea82 clutch pedal cluster clutch cable shifter linkage and assembly flywheel clutch kit and if you want it to look right, the center portion of the instrument cluster for a manual wiring to make the reverse lights and 4wd indications work wiring for the starter inhibitor switch(located in the auto shifter assembly) hth Ben
