HAHA! It's awesome that you made your own and everything, but they carry a 1/2-->3/4 adapter at Sears.

Still got your old set of wheels? The 17's i put on my GL, they're a bit much for my tastes.

Trimmed to clear the studs on the new top hats? Very interesting. Is it a one vehicle application, or did you have to mix and match fronts with rears so your car will ride level?

how are you doing your rear mounts? that's the only thing slowing me down from seriously considering c/o's on my wagon.

I'm running 205/50 17 iPikes on 08 wrx alloys, plus a 5mm spacer. minor rubbing on the bottom corner of the front fenders. 97 Impreza outback struts in the front with STi springs.- Intake Manifold Interchange
So by that logic, a guy could put an EA81 intake on his EA82 to simplify things and install his Weber?- What Have You Done to your Soobie lately? (Please post in here and keep it going)
Finished my five lug swap. See my thread for details/pics.- Wentz's Five Lug Swap/Build Thread.
Well, finally got the parts put on earlier this week. Only a few minor hiccups. Other than that, probably the easiest swap I have ever done on any vehicle. Now for the pictures.- My '92 Loyale: Safariwagon

You could always just get a set of tires that are as close to the stock size as possible for your pugs. no need to go over size on the tires just because you have bigger wheels....- Smokey EA82?!
Thanks GD, thought I remembered that being an FI only fix. Looks like I will be replacing all my PCV stuff when I get home. The valve is a recommended dealer only item as well right?- Smokey EA82?!
Does this recall kit apply to the carb'd motors GD? I've heard of the PCV bypass bits for the FI cars, but didn't see a way to apply it to a carb'd rig. Figured it was more the nature of the opposed type engine, but I'd still like to find a way to at least limit this, if not prevent it.- Smokey EA82?!
So I took a LOOOONG sweeping right hand turn off the freeway yesterday, and it resulted in an oil-smoke cloud behind me thick enough that I could no longer see the car behind me. Also followed almost immediately by the return of TOD. So, what gives, and is there a fix for it? Car is an 85 D/R, Stock carb'd EA82- My '83 GL: The Ski Wagon
Wait, you actually think this is hard?Length in Inches x25.4=Length in mm- anyone know the part # for the o-ring that goes between the cam case and head on an e
HA! Found it. Just took a little searching through the board Via Google Part number 806912070 was superseded by part number 13089AA010-$2- anyone know the part # for the o-ring that goes between the cam case and head on an e
Aren't these one of the parts that are recommended to use OEM only?- anyone know the part # for the o-ring that goes between the cam case and head on an e
I must have tossed the packaging for those o-rings. I know the the cam seals are 806738040, and the cam o-rings are 806958020, but those are the ones on the front behind the belt gears. The cam tower o ring IS shown in the Chilton diagram....it just happens to be the ONE part that isn't labeled.- anyone know the part # for the o-ring that goes between the cam case and head on an e
Cam tower o-ring. Can't remember the name subaru gives it, but let me go check to see if I still have the packaging with the part number. It's just a little tiny guy and is easily missed in the parts diagram.- Weber....Yes or No?
I think that point that GD was making is that you can save yourself an additional $65 on the parts if you have the time/ability to break up the components into separate orders.- My '86 GL 3 Door Coupe

This would pretty obviously imply that it is either your suspension components directly or something in the front end/steering that is changed when suspension is dropped out. - any one using 225/45/16
