  1. glad to hear you made it home safe. get any twister pics?
  2. anyone?? i cant afford a hauling co. or to have a trucker hual the cars. the car hualers want like $675 each way.
  3. i should be heading up there friday (june 4) is any one else going to be there???
  4. how about this, is there anyone near ohio that gould bring th brat down here and take the rx back with you?
  5. has any one heard about the roll over statistics for the brat. some one told me that brats had one of the highest roll over rates of the 80's, next to the sazuki samuri. is this just a case of confusion or is it true?
  6. hmmm, im not sure about having a trucker take my ride, at least the people on the forums i can track down if they deside to forget to drop off the car. i also dont think that i would be able to go along with a truck anyway
  7. my friend and i went to the construction site behind my neighborhood yesterday in his new s-10. nice truck, even came with a lift kit and aftermarket drive shaft. we had fun.
  8. my favorite is a toss up between the brat and the ghetto fabulus 22b i want to make. '00 2.5rs with a legacy turbo shortblock, wrx heads, sti manifold and injectors, sti drivetrain, sti everything, roll cage, seam welding, gutted interior, monster sti wing (adjustable of course) and to top it off, gun metal grey prodrive 15 or 20 spoke rims like the old rally cars. and id paint it a bright silver with a blue pearl overtop. ooooohhh, i also forgot, carbon fiber hood, trunk lid, bumpers, and wide body kit. :slobber:
  9. thanks for the link, but noone around here has an open trailer on a side note, id rather be there when the cars are traded, i want to make sure that noone gets ripped on this, or that noone steals the cars.
  10. on a side note, how cool would it be to show up to stpr in a brat instead of my impreza 2.5rs?
  11. the rx isnt even registered or tagged yet, the front passenger side brake is seized, still needs a bit of work to be driveable, but its will be quick when done. the brat, im told, just needs a battery to run, and registration and tags ect....the usual type on that from what ive gathered. i kinda got bored with the rx and decided that i want a brat now, and it should help to prevent any speeding tickets when i get it
  12. i currently have an 86 rx turbo, i am trading it for an 86 brat. the only problem is that the brat is in ohio andi am in maryland. about 450 miles each way. i also dont have a truck or trailer to transport the vehicles on. i would rent a truck and trailer if i had the money for it, but i prolly only have enough to cover gas, maybe. is there any one willing to help my out with this??? for anyone willing to dontate thier time and use of a truck and trailer, i will pay for gas and most likely cook out once i get home, we will celibrate my brat. my email is bikergothdude@earthlink.net i am located in frederick maryland and the brat is in anna ohio. thanks in advance
  13. soooo, subarubrat, when you gunna let me take a ride in the brat?? you should come up here, im sure that there are some good trails to drive.
  14. the real question is, does that thing come anywhere near street legal?? other than that, amazing!!
  15. thats messed up, kinda how i lost the suby banner i had on my wind shield though, but i only got hit by cardboard from a dumpster truck. i say, go for blood if noone else takes action.
  16. rocking it out in the mid-atlantic region!! booyah. who else is near DC?
  17. welcome to the worl of tomarrow!! i mean, subaru. my first car was a subaru impreza, but what ever you get, im sure you will love it. i woint buy anything else if i can avoid it.
  18. 50:1, try closer to 300:1 as of an artical i read last year.
  19. timing belts, oil seals(cam, crank, rear main) clean it and make it all shiney like.
  20. so sorry to hear about your xt, so very happy that you and your child are ok. people need to toss pride out the window and pull off the road and take a nap when they get tired. did the engine survive the impact with the car in front of you?
  21. well duh, we all know the brat is the greatest thing since sliced bread, that being invented the previous year. i want to have the fastest brat ever, but that will have to wait.
  22. i thought about lifting the rx, but i want a brat, i would like the ability to haul stuff, like *****. . but really,i woant somethin that i can carry stuff in, like bikes, or building materials, ect... i might do a slight lift on it, but ill prrolly end up swapping the engine and drive train to something newer and possibly turboed. i would make it good for on and off road. cant you just imagine the face of some punk in a riced ot honda civic when he gets spanked by an old brat? i made a post in the market place. maybe ill get someone thats willing to trade. the car also kinda brings up bad memories of the place i used to work and the people i worked with. oh well, i want a brat
  23. that sounds like a good idea thanks
  24. i have an '86 rx, want a brat, should i sell the rx and buy a junkyard brat to build or should i try to maybe trade for a brat?either way, i can onlyhave one project car and there is no way ill get rid of my daily driver ('00 2.5rs). i really want a brat. i like the rx, but its being a pain. any ideas?
