  1. it's a owon PDS5022S It does have that feature but it was so dark out I just wanted to get a quick reading.. heck I only checked out one injector before disconnecting everything.
  2. my battery was low on the phone so no flash but you can at least see the waveform. it seems to be reacting in a decent manner
  3. And in the event that does not work you can remove it and spray a whole can of carb cleaner in the IAC That cured my idle dip on a warm engine.. No more Start > 1,000> 400>1000> 650 rpms now when warm Might of been overkill... If do remove the IAC remember to get a new gasket!
  4. Stay away from cheap wires for sure.. I have some wires.. I went to pull the boot and the part that plugs into the spark plug ripped right out of the boot.. on the other hand good thing I did that since the #4 plug was starting to get loose with black carbon over the outer boot plug.. Not sure how that happen as I made sure all were sung back in early march. nevertheless I ordered NGK replacement plug instead of this no name whatever the last owner had on here.
  5. The black wire is the signal and I think it's a grey or white wire for ground right? I want to check my oxygen sensor to see how responsive it is with my digital oscilloscope What range should I be seeing? I'm guessing it should react pretty much instant on throttle changes, no?
  6. Thats the same way I would of done it also.. When I did the front crank shaft seal I used the largest axle nut I could find and drove it in just like the FSM said.. 3 years later no leaks.
  7. next week sometime i'm going to change all 4 struts Im going to leave the strut mounts in place only thing is on like little joint cracks in the road I get this dull metal sound and it's pretty loud at least from listening at the drivers side. I'm not sure if it's the drivers side strut or something else
  8. Im going to start with the cheapest which is replacing these cheap plug wires the last owner got with some NGK wires. At the same time finally get to those intake manifold gaskets that need to be changed. After that I will move on from that point on. Most likely I will be working on the birthday
  9. I don't see the big deal over this seal is about.. just find a pipe or whatever the same size as the seal and tap it in
  10. Im not sure if I can find a replacement hose I was lucky enough to get a replacement for the FPR one.
  11. My hose that goes to the engine block is split as well what effects would it have? I just never got around to replacing it.. I did replace the line that went to the FPR because well.. that hose just snapped.
  12. Looking at the fuel rail pictures here can I pull the whole fuel rail out without worrying about the orings?
  13. sorry late here but at least for my 95 Legacy the red injectors are NON California spec car.. If you have Grey fuel injectors it's for a car California.
  14. Oh I went out for a drive the STFM seems to be within it's correct range Im going to check the coil pack in the morning my birthday is on saturday so not much work is going to be happening then.
  15. I only know of the one on nabisco I've seen in an Asian movie I was watching (Thai) two black/tan outbacks one after the other in the movie haha. Don't forget the subaru in true lies
  16. wow never knew the subie was in it.. now I gotta watch it now!
  17. Anyone have the pinout for the oxygen sensor? I think the sensor is ready to say times up! I wanna put my scope to the sensor.
  18. its hard to get the readings because it only happens under load so I would have to be driving.. I can check the ST and LT fuel trim.. I don't remember if the FSM has it but which wire on the oxygen sensor is the signal wire so I can back-probe with my oscilloscope I would not be one bit surprised if the o2 sensor is slow to react to changes but I don't know if the sensor has so much in say to cause hesitation. oh yea no pending codes yet
  19. Hmm check this out.. lazy front oxygen sensor? Oh and pulling the plug for the CTS was not the issue.
  20. Im going to go hook my live data scanner up and see if Im getting a false reading from it.. I replaced the CTS no more then 4 months ago.. I still have the old CTS in the box the new one came in and I tested it and it's fine.
