skeet if you goto a parts store and look up struts for like say a 87 GL wagon 4wd and look at the adjustable ones they do have them I think monroe makes them that way and the rear struts are the same but you use a spring compressor and compress the spring then lift and turn the bottom perch if you go that way you can adjust them and for the rear I would recomment puting a worm drive hose clamp around the bottom perch cause those tabs, even though rarely, have been known to snap off and that is a remedy for that

Rear Seat Belt Retrofit
bajavwnsoobnut replied to blinkibus's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
I forget the SOA number but might just go down to a dealership and ask them cause they do have a retrofit kit to put 3 point belts in place of the 2 point ones -
I have a project for you guys that have the time I want to see what can be done for graphics on my 76 I have 3 good pictures now on my site that are 1 front 1 drivers side and 1 rear pics.... it would be cool to have a visualisation of what can be done and the accent color I am looking at is yellow with blue as the solid color so good challenge for you guys http://www.geocities.com/jneal77/P0001424.JPG http://www.geocities.com/jneal77/P0001425.JPG http://www.geocities.com/jneal77/P0001426.JPG and for the people that want these for anything else like for wallpaper or anything go right ahead and I have a different shot of the front and a closeup of the front grill area as seen in another post lol

If I were you I would go talk to the service guys at the dealership you take it to for warranty work and explain to them that you have a vibration problem still and want something done about it and also look into the lemon laws for your state cause it might be a case that they need to take back that car and give you a new one for me fo my 04 OBS I am in for the 3rd time for the CD player cause the first one overheated and damaged a couple CD's of my wifes and all the cd's were hard to handle after ejecting them so I finaly got a replacement after talking to them the second visit to the dealership (first was a cold start issue and a trim piece kept popping out and had to be ordered and also radio was mentioned and they said it was normal for the tray above the radio to warp, second was replacement of trim piece and also ordering of the radio, third time was the first oil change and replacement of the radio which doesn't even read CD's!!) and now I have a Appt on monday mornin for the replacement's replacement to be put in and if that one doesn't work I am just gonna go back in and say to grab one from a car off the lot and make sure its one of the cd/tape players

hey 91loyale you might want to make sure your hood is the original hood cause ya never know..... and if the date on the vin plate is 7/91 or older then it's a 91 -

hey Ty I remember that R/C car issue you guys had lol and man my wife has to see this every time we see a subie she points or says "PARTS" lol and every once in awhile she just asks me "what have you done to me!" LMAO muahahahahahahaha -
found this image on www.ebaumsworld.com it was labeled as a redneck snow plow
-
Hey SubaSkeet the reason why that hood is the color that it is is cause of it's Carbon Fiber and I think they wanted it to be the natural color for cheapness and flashyness or if it has any go fast parts and they do run it on the track it can also be weight saving too cause of no paint (hey alot of people take weight savings to the extreme)

for me I already have the letter I need to send to them made up cause of SOA told me that I had to write to FHI for any information on my 76 and also the EA-65 that is in it cause found out that the vin# indicates nadda to SOA and then to top that off the EA-65 is a non-US motor also and not even the original motor at that! but that was like 4 emails to SOA to get that figured out cause after the first reply I FLIPPED and did some caps lock on type sentences and they did respond alot nicer to me in the next reply back
