  1. Thats right, you did. Sweet!
  2. Am I safe for hard corning with 48 offset? Id probably run 205/50/16 but could go down to 195/50/16 if I was gonna have a rubbing issue... Im one that will turn sharply into a parking spot if I see it a second too late
  3. Search Mizumoto on here... they have a few review threads I believe. If its a rust bucket, dont turbo it, youre just asking for things to fall apart
  4. Nah... Problems arise, you get them solved. Sorta like this valve cover issue... Gotta get it resolved so I dont blow my motor up
  5. It is? I thought it was just a basic Y-Pipe? Looks equal when I look at it, suppose itll look way different when I drop it. In any case, I still wanna go to 2"
  6. Makes sense. I didnt mention that the DS PCV hose on the valve cover looked a little wet... that whole valve cover could be leaking oil too. Oh he is... but theres got to be some big $$$ before that happens. I wanna do my EJ22T, AWD 5/6 speed swap and LSD all at once... And I figure between wiring costs (since Ill want it to look stock as possible) Im gonna be in at least 2K for labor, plus the EJ22T, plus the 5/6 speed, LSD rear etc... Hes gonna have to hold out a bit haha. I have another EA82 I just have to rebuild it so I can drop it in.
  7. Hows this? 17lbs each 16x6.5 +48 offset Meaning I would run a 205/50/16 tire? I dont think those will rub.. but I cannot find an offset guide for what my steelies are...
  8. I think Ive decided to switch the wheel/tire combo currently... I really like these... not sure what color Id do them yet, MAYBE gold, but thinking white or black or gunmetal could look sick too I saw them on a lifted Loyale... and think they look sick... gives me a little more sidewall too, even when I lower the car down... Gotta do research and make sure these are a good offset.
  9. When I asked OBK25XT about his lowering recently he's got coilover sleeves from an 88-00 honda civic with EA82 rear top-hats... That's my plan eventually..
  10. This may not be beneficial for me. I usually drive in 2500-5000 range lol...
  11. Lol I have mentioned this Loyale to several people when we see it... but never said anything about it... But cmiller... I think your Loyale is pretty awesome keep up the good work
  12. Well I wanted to keep it a secret... but I plan on having a custom UEL made for Ned... about 2" if I can and then clear back to the 2.5" glasspack and then a flowmaster muffler... but Im going with a slight compression bump... going SPFI EA82 under my carb manifold with torque cams... hopefully thatll give my EA82 some real growl... and some power behind that growl
  13. I figured it might be a vac line but wasnt sure... thought could be coolant line but then didnt get it...
  14. After about 2 mins in... did you deflate your left front tire for the sand? Cuz it looks flat. Kickass video though, glad its a fun scoob!
  15. First question, what is this line that comes off the manifold and towards the passenger rear of the engine bay? Also... pulled into the driveway and noticed white smoke from exhaust... but I jumped out and smelled it... didnt smell sweet like coolant (I do have a DS head gasket leak... leaks oil externally) and after a few revs the smoke diminished and didnt pour anymore... smelled like fuel/exhaust (duh but thats whats confusing). Engine was fully warmed (good 50-60 miles traveled) and so it wasnt like it was cold... Car is an 86 GL w/ Weber carb
  16. Whoa. The sticker said 22 city 29 hwy which could change after the first 1000 miles... If it goes up to an AVERAGE of 32, I think my friend will be sold on it...
  17. Would 2.25 lose some back pressure? Im thinking custom exhaust... Im already at stock exhaust to a 2.5" glasspack and Im... loud to say the least... but I love it. It is time for a change though, which is why Im thinking with the rebuilt SPFI EA82 with the carb manifold Ill probably get a 2" exhaust to a 2.5" glasspack and then run a flowmaster/magnaflow muffler behind it (to keep it in respectable ranges ) and call it good.
  18. That wagon is gorgeous dude! Both of them are, but that GL is kickass.
  19. they are uhhh, missin a lug it appears
  20. For the EJ25 arent people using the MLS updated gasket? Im pretty sure I heard that was best.
  21. Use photobucket.... upload the picture and then copy and paste the IMG code into a message...
  22. Took my friend (that wrecked her Kia) into Subaru today... First drove a '11 Legacy 3.6R which she loved the room and the power behind it... Talking to the sales guy, decided payments on a 3.6R were gonna be a bit high and went with a normal Legacy, then eventually because of 2 70lb PUPPIES decided to check out a 2012 Outback... she basically fell in love... It was really nice, the back up camera is 1080i! and the turning radius... wow... thats tight lol. ANYWAY, to the question... The Outback is still the 2.5 H4 (unless you get the H6 3.6R version) so Subaru has the updated HG to stop the HG leakage... BUT have they incorporated that in the cars from the factory now? Like will the 2.5L thats in this Outback have headgasket issues down the road for her or should it have the updated gasket? Basically Ive told her that her first major repair will probably be the timing belt at 105K... but is there going to be a HG failure? Oh and the CVT is amazing. Couldnt get any wheel spin on 2 wheels on gravel and 2 wheels on pavement... This is why I recommend a Subaru to everyone... Im soooo giddy haha
