  1. I was gonna hook my secondar electric fan up today and have some 10 guage wire for it, but its a lot bigger than the wire that the fan uses. Is this still ok, or should I get some smaller wire? I was also gonna splice the secondary fan in with the primary and run them both off the orginal connector, is this gonna be too much power to hold? Thanks.
  2. It did when I had no reverse and only 4 HI! We'll see if you can keep up this time. haha. It should be fun. Just a cruise.
  3. Hey since the Lifted Brat will be done soon, lets get something together. We have a new member in the area (DarkSTI) and TheSubaruJunkie should have the Rx runnin soon, so there isn't much from stopping us from getting together. I was thinking of some weekend day at the Beginning of April? The 1st? Was thinking of hitting up Dog Valley and Peavine, I haven't been out there in a long while. What do you think?
  4. This happened at WCSS7 while going through the trees. This pic is a lot later after the redness went away, it was gnarly at first. I hit a stump on the driver's side and the wheel kicked hard right. I have broken a thumb nail pretty good one other time but since I have learned to keep the fingers away!
  5. What can you do to an ej22 to get more power out of it? I was thinking of having the heads ported/polished and maybe having the heads decked. I was also thinking of getting a cam from delta cams. What else would you do to build it up? Give me all options here, expensive or otherwise. What kind of horsepower would I be looking at?
  6. Most of my Brats get between 22 and 25 miles a gallon. I think it may have something to do with altitude cause whenever I drop down into Sacramento, or when I went up to Oregon, I was getting 27-29 a gallon.
  7. DO IT! I've been wanting a set of fenders with built in flares for a while now. You may have to git up a junkyard for the fenders, but may be able to find them around. Good luck and keep us informed.

I have one ready to install into the Brat, needs to be wired in though.
  10. we're gonna clean up the moonrocks Saturday March 11th. It has been grafittied (sp?) and we've got a line on some sandblasters and pressure washers to take care of it. I know that soime of us have been out there and we should do our part to help out. We'll be able to wheel and there will be a BBQ as well. THE LIFTED BRAT WILL BE THERE! Lets get it done!
  11. Hey i've got another idea. I'm tired of seeing the same people winning the same trophy's. Could we all chip in and get some more classes? Maybe best in show ea81, ea82, lifted, stock, pre 1978, 90-95, etc? That'd be nice for a change. I don't think it'd be too hard for someone to get an account going for donations, or maybe it could be tacked onto our registration?
  12. Here's a pic of the parking lot. This is maybe half of them, there's a lot more to the right of the pic. Here's a pic of the first rig up. You can make me out up on top of the highest rock there in the white long sleeve shirt and the dark pants.
  13. WOW. I just got back from out there. Over 300 people showed up. I got exactly 0 pictures of the brat, I was busy filming all the "hardore" guys. They crawled some GNARLY stuff, some things that didn't even seem possible. We saw some flops as well, all in all it was great. I may get pics up if you guys will let me.
  14. The closest I can say it is is in the back part of red Rock, or out near Palomino Valley. If you wanna show up from town here are directions: Take the Pyramid Highway North for like 10-15 miles. Turn LEFT on Winnemucca Ranch Road. Keep following and it'll turn to dirt. KEEP GOING. After a couple of miles on Winnemucca Ranch Road, you'll see a road off to the left after a hay field. TAKE IT. You'll see a sign for the Hungry Valley Offroad Park or something like it. Roll down window and listen for Crap talkin. Just playin, you'll see the moonrocks up ahead after that.
  15. Ok I'm heading out early. I'm gonna eat breakfast at the Hometown Cafe in Lemmon Valley at 8 and then heading from there to the moonrocks. If you wanna come, we'll see you in Lemmon Valley or out at the rocks!
  16. A local shop, Schaffers Offroad, is having a comp between a few members of local 4x4 message boards. I was scheduled to be part of it with the Brat, but it won't be ready. It's semi-big, there'll be quite a few people out there. I was the only soob enrolled. It should be a fun time.
  17. That's awesome. I remember that WCSS3 was held there, maybe wcss9 will be there? Good news.
  18. Couldn't be worse than driving a brat to Oregon and back with no stereo and nobody to tal to. Come awn up!
  19. Bump. You guys still want to run out there this weekend to watch the show? I won't have the Brat, but it'd still be cool to go out and watch. THIS SATURDAY THE 25TH. The show is supposed to start at noon, but I wanna be out there early. Lets get it goin.
  20. How long do you wanna wait? I may be treveling to Salt Lake at the end of July for a wedding, and could prolly bring them then, but if you want them sooner, then I don't know. Just a thought.
  21. Looks like you guys had fun. Let me guess, the lifted wagon drove over that log on the beach and the stock one only posed on top? We've done something like that up here too. Keep it up.
