  2. The TWE headers and Downpipes are STILL AVALIBLE RIGHT NOW for purchase. contact Mike Melton at Folger SUBARU of Charlotte NC. 1-704-536-9635 Header is $399, and DP is $199. NOTE: Header will accept a VF7 or ANY of the TD04/newer IHI turbos. The rear hole is slotted for BOTH styles. Downpipe is for VF7 and other 4 bolt IHI turbos ONLY.

  5. After I get on the dyno and printouts and stuff, i think I'll have time sunday before heading back here to do a writeup on everything.
  6. going back to the dyno stuff...the mods on the wagon at the time were pretty light. Intake, stock DP with no cat and that was it. Stock boost, 100 octane fuel, NO IC and just a recirc valve with the 9.5:1. 99 AWHP. If I was at the home PC i would show you that I make all my power BEFORE 4000 RPMs. Pleiades(then mine, and now JWX's) RX as you can see what somewhat 'normal' and ran mostly stock, bottomless intake box, and a glass pack with the rest of the exhaust stock...10 PSI. 88 AWHP. Anyhow...i dont think anyone thinks that I am actually getting the HP figures im saying...all I know is that the car is plain fast when the clutch doesnt slip...and if anyone read ydants posts in the Dragon tales thread...u'd see that his WRX (with full TBE and some ECU stuff done, and a deadbolt turbo) and the RX at 9.5~10.0 PSI was close to EVEN on the straights.

  9. Ok, lemme put it in HP figs...stage 2 good to 220 hp, stage 3 is 280 hp.
  10. BTW: on the dyno, before IC exhaust work and with the 9.5:1 engine on race fuel, i had 141 HP at the crank, 99 at the wheels. when I dyno the RX this sat, we will see what I had the wagon at before its blow up state. and what the RX is doing now. I hope to see 160 WHP.

  12. 40~45% increase for stage 2, $200. 75% increase for stage 3, $225. includes presure plate, cutch disc, and the bearings.
  13. the XT/XT6 is the ayclone over seas. most have an EA82 in it...some have the turbo version of it...and some have the ER27 6 cyl. Leone is the same as the DL/GL/GL-10/RX/Loyale over here. Everywhere else its called a Legacy...and in Aus i believe its called the Liberty.
  14. that so called dash pot is the biggest POS ive ever seen. I've taken the stuff apart and seen that the TP still closes 100% when it goes from 100% WOT to 100% closed. No slowing action evAr on the closing action. I've totaled a turbo from one day of driving like its the WRC with a stock setup.
  15. OMG...why does everyone have header issues but ME? Ive NEVER jacked an engine to get the stock header OUT or IN. With the PS lines, you WILL need to lift the engine...BUT with OUT the PS lines, its not necessary. Either way...there is a nut on the bottom side of the crossmember holdind the engine mount in place...its a 14MM. Remove that one to lift the engine. DONT remove the ones holding the engine to the mounts.
  16. i do not know about the rear as i have not tried them. just specify 89-94 Legacy with 14" wheels.
  17. Can i use a 1st gen legacy MAF on an 87+ turbo EA82T setup?
  18. as in WHY didnt SUBARU in their INFINATE wisdom, at least work in a recirv valve into the turbo setups???????????????????????????????????????????? Which leads my to my next question... WHY were the turbo soobs not popular 'back in the day'...as in, 1985-2001 in the USDM????
  19. that was JWX that said it too..he ruined it all!! The car was fine...just some grass stuck inbetween the tire/rim.
