  6. my local autozone could not order them , and went to there web site same thing
  7. i pull a pop up 1800 lbs just fine with my 97 legacy L wagon , all the above is good , you must put on a convertor real easy , yes trailer brakes is good, i got a custom made hitch for mine, no tranny cooler on mine , with no problems, but i live on flat ground no mountains or hills, and drive 50-55 mph, and all fluids + brakes are all new , backing it can be trickly ,if your not use to it, but i drive a semi for a living , so it it real easy
  8. yes the plugs can be fun to get loose, try some blaster on them first , a half inch braker bar with a pipe , should do the trick
  9. a half inch rachet will fit, if i remember alittle less than a qt ,will fill it up ,
  10. yes they do ,or aleast they did 5 years ago, i had a real nice tour , i was the only one on the tour, if i remember there is a lady in chicago ,that sets it up , i 'll try and find the # , there were no older ones,

  13. yes a 1-1/4 in receiver is fine, i pull a pop up camper with my 97 legacy L wagon , about 1800 lbs, , remember you must have converter for the lights, , real easy to hook up, etrailer has everything you need, if you do not have a pigtail ,then you must s-plice into the wires, and might even have to run a wire to the passanger side for right rear blinker
  14. got it all hooked up , on the converter the green wire is extra long, the reason is because you must run it to the passanger side , blinker, ,for the right turn , biggest thing is to run it though one of the rubber stoppers or hang it out the hatch , but aleast i have it hooked up ,thanks
  15. got new hitch put on, now for the lights, no pigtail , i have found underneith the small gray cover, , 4 wires, black, white, green/ white, and red, is this where you splice in ? i have a convertor from etrailer, thanks
  16. yes i have a converter on order,+ the hitch is being made as we speak, i have done nothing, i just wanted to know where the pigtail was or if my 97 legacy had one, + the color of the wires,
  17. no pigtail ,but found all the colored wires, except red/white , right behind the small cover ,that you would remove if you were to replace a bulb [ 4 sets of wires in a bunch ]drivers side
  18. found it , brake light - white/black, tail light- red, left turn green/white, black ground, the only one i did not find is right turn which should be white/ red , but it is pretty dark in the garage + my light is dim
  19. ok, the pig tail must not be to long or just pushed down in side, thanks
  20. i looked where it is located on a outback, drivers side underneith the carpet, but i'll look again, if not where should i splice into at ? maybe at the drivers side tail light plug, ? thanks
  21. did a search and found nothing, + went onto the outback board , on the outbacks there is a pigtail and you splice in a converter , but on my 97 legacy L wagon there is no pigtail + would the color wires on a outback be the same ?, any help or suggestions ? all i am pulling is a pop up camper 1800lbs total weight , i can pick up the front end ,so it weighs less than 200 lbs,
