  1. my 88 gl-10 full time 4wd a/t , 123,000mi , had a bad noise from it sounded like from the power steering pump area, new belt, new alt, and is tight , motor was cold , and wheels were straight , fluid was full , , a few months ago i drained the reserve tank because i had no power steering, by doing this i had power steering again , my question is my power steering going out ? i have a spare one
  2. all i have is stock am-fm dial type radio in my dl and don't even turn it on
  3. yes i toured the plant before they came out with the h6 , about 1 hour long , very interesting , honda, passport , outback , were the ones i remember seeing :banana:no driving any new ones , the tour guide new his stuff

  5. it''s my 88 dl d/r spfi wagon , 197,000mi , no coolant in oil, or oil in coolant, does not over heat, runs fine , my question is what is the cause of the foamy in the over tank
  6. thanks, i also used crc , mine was all dirty , after spraying it down and waiting awhile before putting it all back togather and starting the motor , now it's all shiny and clean ,
  7. i cleaned my maf sensor , and yes it seemed to help , idles better , not sure about mpg yet, this was on my 88 spfi d/r wagon , my question, on a 88 turbo is the 2 small wires the same as a spfi ?would the results be the same ?

  9. ok, south of where i live , they sell 85% ethanol 15% gas , for like 1.98 gal, gas here in ohio 2.12 gal right now

  11. can ethanol be used in ea82 spfi motors or ea82 turbo's, there are no stations selling it yet that are close by , just wondering ? the price aleast at the station that do sell it ,is .20 less per gallion , comments ?
  12. do not over tighten the plugs , just take your time 1 at a time

  15. my 88 dl 4wd 5sp 25-27 city 197,000mi , 88 turbo a/t full time 4wd gl-10 wagon 23-24 city, 25 hi way , so mid 20's is good
  16. there is a ebay store selling axles for ea82 or ea81 , if i remember right , ea81 4wd fronts were like 47 bucks shipped ,1 year warranty , from SC

  18. cont area's the fine doubles , if your in a semi and doing like 70mph in a 55 zone + in a work zone you can get it for reckless opp and loose your license , 6 points ,and most company's can't insurse you the,. i would go with a corded one ,the kind with 360 degree , and even kind that tell you where the work zones are +rest area's + picks up fire / ambulance , etc....
  19. but they do pick up from a good distance , so on the interstate is where it will work good,+ with laser they have to be sitting still to use it+ it picks up the largest and fastest car or truck moving ,

  22. i put ajustable struts on my 88 turbo wagon , they came off a 86 wagon , they are adjusted all the way out, my question there is a noise coming from both sides , sounds like somthing is rubbing , the noise is coming from the rear , any suggestions ?
  23. miles , rust, and any work that might need to be done, axles, timing blts, ,around here rust is the main thing,
  24. there was post some time back about using a ford f-150 fuel pump, but something about using different clamps or buying smaller hose kit
