  1. hey all got a quick Q. lets say you have an 88 3dr RX and a same year 4dr RX. will the harness be the same to where you could use the 4dr gauge cluster with the 3dr wirring?
  2. i have to post again> i just keep looking at the car. are thoose bumpers stock? every other euro soob i've seen doesn't have them. i translated a little bit of that page but it doesn't say anything in regards to the bumpers. *thinking about how much shipping would be!
  3. has anyone here put cams on their ea82 spfi before?? if so, i would like to know the results. -Brad
  4. i was wondering how an apexi AFC would work on our cars. i heard certain cars don't like them..
  5. they wont fit on your wagon-different spline counts
  6. disconect the battery and dont leave a full tank of gas!lolis the car going to be inside or outside?
  7. so my roommate works for a beer distrubiting company... i can bring some KONA longboard lager. possibly a keg but someone would need to haul it cause there will be no room in the sooby for it...i also have access to other stuff btw.
  8. on mine john left the stock tubing off the manifold. right after the bend is where the new pipe went. with a a very smooth merge where they come together
  9. yeah i would agree, but its not like were having 50+ cars!
  10. the RX cluster is analog on a turbo car.....would it swap onto a digi turbo car????
  11. i give a thumbs up to cvaxles. the made custom ones for me!
  12. yeah i figured anyone coming from cali on I5 can take hwy 97 in weed up to hood river. id guess the distance is about the same as taking it I5 up to portland and east to hoodriver
  13. who goes there for a meal!? ppsstt:slobber:
  14. hey all. I'd like to arrange a caravan (when the time arrises) up to hood river this august. wanted to get an idea of how many people will be coming through bend on the way up.
  15. welcome to the board! yeah ive been tinkering with strut braces from other cars. to find a "cheaper" route than subspeed's as i belive its well over a $100:eek: . by the way: jason called and left you a V.M., im not working on monday if you want to meet up
  16. legacy's started in 89. the 89's had all black bumpers and there was no center tailight plastic on the wagon's and sedans
  17. cold air intake, front strut bar, short shifter, poly bushings and this is a LONG SHOT but what about a standardized "kit" for swapping an EJ motor and drivetrain into an EA82?
  18. the only modification was to grind the lttle disk of on the front struts...if anyone wants a second opinion P.M. harpua (donny). he drove it this past weekend.
  19. make sure to wire it right! ive seen a few cars with owners always having a dead battery. got checked out and that little aftermarket cruise control parasitic draw keeps draing the battery. installed by non metionable stereo shops
  20. the coilovers were for a 99+ jetta. 450lb springs in the front, 350lb in the rear. as far as the rear goes(dont use the sping cap) you can choose not to use adj. perch as the spring is nearly the same diameter as stock.depending on how low you want it. WARNING:to anyone using these type of sport coilovers beware. as i told shean, even though your car will not be "slammed" IT WILL ride like it!! Hitting dips in the road really "G forces" your butt into the seat. if any of you have ridden in a slammed #onda, you know the feeling. I do not suggest this for your daily driver. But if you want to handle 10X better and can live with the ride..... GO FOR IT! look i used bold, underline, and italic all in one post!hahahhaha
  21. yeah i need to do something as replacing tweeters will get real expensive
  22. so for the past 6 years ive had to live with this. when its raining or has rained and I go driving WITH my window cracked or down and come to a stop,,,MY CAR GOES PEE-PEE ON ME. all the water in the gutter runs forward, hits the "end" and the windshield pillar and goes in my car... just replaced my drivers door tweeter cause it got soaked and went bye bye. let me know if others of you deal with this and if there is a solution.
